[He's pretty much just going to cut to the chase here.]

I'm going to start a criminal database. Clearly there's no law enforcement, but it would be dead helpful to those of us who are interested in that kind of thing to have a database on noted criminals. And by criminals, I'm using the term very loosely, considering that those of us who...pursue said criminals are criminals by definition ourselves. Anyway, a real database will help in solving future incidents. Which, I'm sure there will be some.

I know there's already a warning about people in the notes, which is great, but what I want is this:

Names. Descriptions. People who have attempted, or succeeded, to kill, assault, rob people here -- anything that harms other people or their property, I want to know about it. And people who have attempted to do similar in their home worlds, not counting war veterans or police officers. I want details, and dates if you can give them.

Characters: Tess, the Watsons, and Monika
Location: Building 37
Date: Day 315 (evening)
Summary: Tess gets confirmation that there are, in fact, actual people here instead of only phantoms on her tablet. Also, she makes some sandwiches.
Warnings: Parents experiencing separation/loss from a small child.

[The tablet clicks on to a relatively good shot of Sherlock inside one of the funeral homes, back in his proper body, clothing slightly rumpled and body bag on the floor behind him where he's clearly just fought his way out.]

As a follow up to my previous experiment, it's worth noting that a complete blood transfusion is equally as temporary as a partial one done to relieve MN symptoms.

[He sounds calm enough, but there's a slight tremble to his hands that belie that he's shaken.]

I find it curious that those of us who revive in the evenings are permitted to remain overnight in these places without any negative consequences, when usually such a thing is fatal. I wonder if it would be possible to negate those consequences by arriving in a place where someone else is reviving, or if somehow one would be killed and one left alone.

[There's a pause, before his brow furrows.]

I suppose that I should say that I'm not advocating for that to be tested, before I am accused of encouraging people to endanger their lives, it's merely a theoretical musing.

[The second part of the message is OPEN. The first part is SEMI-CLOSED to anyone with access to the Shadownet - a text only app created by Winter. Winter is an NPC that you'll read about in the Survival Guide, but the basic primer is that she's a Russian AI who has been periodically contacting the Snowblind characters and trying to help them to some extent. She has been encountered in multiple events and aided characters in making private messages actually private.

Please see this post about Shadownet distribution. These are also characters who currently possess Shadownet. Anyone traveling with these characters will likely be able to read messages on Shadownet through their travel companions. We're working to get more copies.]

@dulcedeleche
Winter, it's John. Finally getting you some new information. It's been rough lately. It's always rough, but moreso than the usual, I think. We seem to be stuck at the high school. If there's anything you can do to help, we'd really appreciate it. We were able to get the classrooms open, but inside it's just... nothing. Like whoever was making this world forgot about that piece. I think it might be under quarantine like the building where the converts did those surgeries on the 'sinners.' I don't know what you can do, but anything you can think of after reading this and looking at some of the attached information would really help. Bullet points, as usual, covering Day 290 through Day 308. Others are welcome to fill in the finer details, of course.

Open to Everyone
Hullo, everyone. Dr. Watson here with a summary update of recent happenings. For anyone new, an archive of my previous summaries can be found HERE. I'm heading to work with a patient at the moment, but I'm also available for medical consultation as one of the medics here. Please let me know if you need anything. I'm running an on-again, off-again blood transfusion service for those with severe MN Poisoning. It's only a temporary reprieve from symptoms, but blood transfusions from healthy donors have proven to alleviate MN symptoms for up to two weeks.

There's no furniture in this house, but the central heating works for one hour a night--although the exact hour is random. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, STEPHANIE BROWN, EDWARD ELRIC, GREED, DAY SIXTY-TWO, TRAVELLING WEST" is written on the wall, alongside "DEAR FORMER RESIDENT, WE ARE FRIENDS, PLEASE DO NOT FEEL YOU NEED TO HIDE FROM US. CONTACT LELRIC." "House 86 of the map" is written on the wall in marker.

[The video feed starts in a bright and sterile morgue. A single drawer is open, a body bag unzipped and left where it sat on the drawer. A very slight collection of dust sits at the edge of the drawer, as if there had been something sitting there earlier. The camera pans through the remainder of the morgue quickly, as there isn't much else to see: more pristine counters and closed drawers.

Through a door, the video catching a peek of a red coat and a gloved hand opening the handle, and then the the camera reveals a darkened room. It's difficult to see; the tablet image jostles and a mini-flashlight turns on as the camera is straightened, and revealed are symbols of the prophet emblazoned everywhere. The entire area is decorated in a motif of black and red, curtains drawn, scattered chairs around the room and facing from. It's some kind of funeral home, and from the looks of it, it belonged to the cult.

After a few pans of the room, the video turns off.]

There is no mention of this building on any of the maps I've seen. Has anyone else seen it?

[Sherlock is exceptional at deducing with all five of his senses, solving cases by only the noise in the nearby street, or the taste of a powder left behind. But he didn't realise just how disorientating it is to lose one of those senses and not have it to rely on. He's already fallen over his own pack twice, bruised his shin on the mortuary drawer, and taken nearly a full fifteen minutes to find the door to the outside.

It's embarrassing, really. He'd do a lot better at this in London where he actually knows the streets to memory, but he's not quite that expert on Norfinbury's geography. It doesn't help that he has no idea of his starting location to even guess at how to get anywhere. A dent to his pride it might be, but even he knows that he can't navigate this on his own, or he risks wandering in circles and getting locked out overnight to die again. But he can't navigate his tablet enough to make it do text to speech, or even make a private call. So in frustration, he's jabbed the screen mostly at random until he thinks he's managed to make something work.

The view is of snow, lots of blurry snow on an angle. Sherlock's voice sounds loud over the image, loud and irritated.]

Could somebody please tell me where the hell I am?

[This is an incredibly embarrassing post to have to make, especially after the one he'd put out a few days earlier. Reading through those replies makes him want to curl up and hide from the world for people seeing what he'd been like straight out of the Army. The messages to his friends are a particular humiliation. But it is what it is and he has to deal with this now. Man up, Watson.]

I'd like to apologize to everyone for my attitude and behavior the last several days. My death price has ended and my memories have returned. I can't take back the things I said to any of you, but I'm really very sorry. I was in a bit of a bad place where I was set at.

For anyone who was asking me, I'm in the Entrance area with America, England, and Ginger.

I'm also sorry to report that the cause for Clint Barton's death was the Joker. He mortally wounded Clint, but I'm pretty sure Clint was able to escape the situation along with Harley Quinn. Clint was able to mortally wound the Joker, as well. I'm not sure where the Joker is right now, but please be on your absolute guard. He is well-armed and he'll have been healed up after his revival, even if he might still have severe MN Poisoning.

Right. I just want to be clear given that obituary. I don't know you people. I've never met any of you. Yes, I've seen some of the logs and I've read through your guides, so don't bother telling me to do that. I don't know what the hell you're playing at or how you managed to get audio and video footage of me like that, but I'm not indulging you.

My name is Dr. John Watson. If you require medical advice, I can provide it. Otherwise, I'm a bit busy. Thank you.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry if this seems kind of like an odd time for a game...I know a lot of people probably won't be in the mood, but I was hoping that some people might want to play with me? I'm trying to, like, get my mind off of what just happened. I know I could really use the distraction.

[So, it goes to serve that maybe some other people will, too. She just hopes nobody will get offended--like she said, it's an odd time. But, well, sometimes something lighthearted is just what you need to chase away the horror. It's worth a shot.]

I was thinking we could play some rounds of f/m/k
which stands for fuck, marry, kill (sorry for swearing!!!)

The whole idea is that you give three names, and you have to assign one to each name, who would you choose for each one. It's all just fun! It can be really challenging depending on what names you decide! I'll start, but let me know if you have any questions okay?

Oh! And if you're involving anyone younger, how about a tamer version of kiss, pinky promise, punch?
