Has anyone noticed that the monsters are getting a little more vigilant lately?

Ever since the possessions, it seems like they've been showing up more often. The group I'm traveling with ran into three in the span of four days. Freya and Al have been tailed for two days straight and suffered much worse. My deepest condolences to the both of you; I can't even begin to imagine what you've been through.

In the interest of preventing something like that from happening again, I'd like to get a better idea of how many monsters have been sighted in the past week or so and what attracts them. If you've run into one since then, could you please tell me how many days ago it happened, where it happened (relatively speaking), how many people you were traveling with when you encountered it (if any), and if you or anyone traveling with you turned on the "beacon" application? If you don't know what that means, don't worry about it.

I'll start:
Monster #1:
Gas Station (near southern wall, east of the school)
Group of 7
1 person with beacon

Monster #2:
Teacher's House (near southern wall, west of gas station)
Group of 9
1 person with beacon

Monster #3:
Victorian House (near southern wall, south of school)
Group of 6
1 person with beacon

Thanks, and I appreciate your cooperation. Everyone stay safe today.

- Clayton

DAY 44; VIDEO

[Quark boots up the video feed straight out of fleeing the classroom where their exploration of the board at the front had gone a bit...awry. He still looks a bit boggled by what happened, and he has to close his eyes shut tight for a second while the spots fade from his vision.]

It's bad when electronic screens start flashing bright colors, right?

[And, relatedly:]

If anyone goes to look at the boards in the school's classrooms, it's probably better to not try and take them off the wall.

DAY 45, EVENING; AUDIO

[To his audio post, Quark attaches a picture he snaps of a little snowman. It's a fairly uncomplicated and unremarkable one, lacking the features that most snowmen are compromised of. If they had buttons for eyes or a carrot for a nose, it would be silly to part with them for something so frivolous. Nonetheless, Quark thinks that the snowman has character! He and Clementine had been helping Enoch dig around in the snow to find anything useful, but when nothing was turning up, Quark had switched his focus and started to pack together snow. Eventually, the other two had started to lend a hand, and the collaborative effort had really made a difference.]

Mr. Enoch and Clem and I built this guy in front of the house that leads to the ice tunnels. If you see him, please be nice and don't knock him down! Or, if you have time, make him a friend! I bet he'll be happy for the company.

[He knows that this doesn't really have all that much business being up on the Network with a lot of the other really important things, but sometimes a little bit of something happy can go a long way. That, and he's really proud of his first snowman and seriously doesn't want anyone to knock it over. The snowman has done nothing wrong.]

Gregory House, MD
Characters: Clayton, Dio, House, Miranda, Ellana, Dorian, Beckett, and Brian.
Location Building 29 (aka the Party Shed).
Date: Day 46, evening, probably after lockdown.
Summary: There are a lot of people packed into an equipment shed. There's bound to be friction. Or maybe they'll get along. Sing Kumbaya... Yeah, that's probably not happening.
Warnings: Gross mold lungs, House being his general insensitive self, and so forth. Please note specific warnings in the headers!

Watch out for the Vashta Nerada! )

[As soon as the feed starts, Alister begins to speak. No preamble, no introduction.]

Looks like I finally found something worth sharing. These were both discovered in the same house, one that sits at a diagonal from another house in the same lot. Right next to one of the snow walls, bordering a park that's been turned into a mass grave. [His tone is grim, but unperturbed, as though he's used to those kinds of horrors. As though they cannot hurt him.] For now, I can't narrow down the location any further than that.

[Because Norfinbury's maps are absolute crap in his (heavily biased) opinion and he refuses to use any of them beyond the roughest of outlines, let alone establish them as credible frames of references when speaking to other people.]

Take a look.
