[But things are complicated enough while they're trapped here, aren't they? Fiona leans over to grab her hat from the floor and puts it on.]

I need to get home.

[Reason number one why this is a shitty place to get all "smitten".]

[devoutish]

[He raises a hand.]

I've got no plans to chase after or pursue you, yeah?

[He honestly feels a little bad that she seems to feel awkward, and wants to make that clear.]

My feelings, right, they stay in my head now.

[plundering]

[She raises her eyebrows. She doesn't like feeling at a loss like this, especially when it comes to dealing with people. She's not used to it.]

[Half-teasing, because of course she's going to deal with something like this that way. And then, more genuinely, although still not completely:]

I didn't know you were serious. Didn't think I was your type.

[Less serious at the beginning, but then it grew.]

I need to get home, too. That's not something that's ever gonna change, for me.

[She rolls her eyes good-naturedly, but she does take the hat off. Her hair is still mussed up from sleeping.]

Fucking hell, would you look at that. You're right, it's the hat.

[plundering]

[She laughs, and then she throws it at him, flicking it like a frisbee.]

[devoutish]

[He catches it and swaps it for his own, which he tosses to her.]

Now that I'm thinking about it - it might be this hat even more.

[plundering]

[She plops it on her head, tilting it to the side a bit.]

So you're saying I can keep it?

[devoutish]

Oof.

[He places his hand over his heart.]

Yeah, it's that hat, absolutely. Now give it back; I can't be parted with it for much longer.

[plundering]

Nope. My head is cold. I need it more than you do.

[devoutish]

[plundering]

[She grins.]

Hey, maybe I'll make it up to you.

[devoutish]

[He just straightens her hat on his well.]

Well, you're not getting this one back.

[plundering]

You'll give it back to me. I don't think you're as "cruel" as I am.

[devoutish]

I might take that as something of a challenge.

[plundering]
