[Someone here really isn't a fan of being told what to do. He's even less fond of it right now, given his current surroundings.

Because, sure, he expected to have been moved. He'd be pretty annoyed if he'd been left right where he fell. But waking up to find he's been thrown into some sort of storage shed? His guns missing, and only some annoyingly talkative electronic device in their place? That's not okay.

Whoever decided to play this trick is going to learn that their first mistake was choosing Xanxus as their target. ... Once he figures out where he is.


It's a few hours before he takes to using the network, his focus having gone towards finding somewhere more comfortable to wait around, first. It's not out of any interest to be sociable, however. What does finally drive him to use it is checking the contents of a certain backpack that his cat had found interesting enough to pick up before they left. And seeing such a miserable excuse for rations-- no, the implication of food being rationed at all...

A photo gets uploaded first, of a perfectly fine week's worth of rations. But what follows...]

[ It's a few hours later that Squalo finally bothers checking the arrivals. It was never that interesting and he was busy trekking through the goddamn snow. And, of course, this time his jaw's dropping as soon as he turns on the tablet. ]

[The writing on the accessory shop wall is nonsense, but suggests he’s found his way home. Yet this isn’t the body he should be in, nor is this the place; he’d expected, at the very least, to end up in the state where he died - but he’s sure, in all his life, he’s never heard of a place called Norfinbury, and it was his job to keep track of such things.

Nothing at all is the way it should be, least of all the fact that Runcible is clinging to his pant leg, his whole body shaking in fear to compensate for his lack of expression. Was it possible to hop between worlds if one caught a ride? Feeling partially responsible for his predicament, Roland hides him inside of his jacket in case he might be cold.

After creating a sensible username, Roland starts up the feed, completely calm in spite of himself. There’s only one way to find out where he’s landed.]

The bag I was left with must mean someone found my body. If that’s the case, I guess I should be thanking them. I suppose my weapons were confiscated for my own protection?

[Yeah, he’s clearly skeptical on that point. He feels completely naked without his gun, and this isn’t exactly a royal welcome. But, he’s not so interested in getting his stuff back so much as figuring out what happened - Roland’s demeanor cools as he straightens.]

-Whoever may be watching this, I need as much information as I can get. I’m afraid I don’t understand where I’ve found myself.

[He takes a deep breath- both for emphasis, and to psych himself up for the potential fallout.]

[Some of his companions are taking a break from the wireless-blocking bunker in the south, therefore so is he. Which means, unfortunately for Roland, he'll have to try to make out his voice over the wind outside, since he's standing around in the snow with his allies.

He might not have bothered at all, since his tablet's battery ran a bit low in there. But when Roland mentions being both alive and of sound mind as if both are incredibly important, after guessing his weapons were taken for his own protection, Enoch's mind puts the pieces together in...possibly the wrong way.]
