Right. I just want to be clear given that obituary. I don't know you people. I've never met any of you. Yes, I've seen some of the logs and I've read through your guides, so don't bother telling me to do that. I don't know what the hell you're playing at or how you managed to get audio and video footage of me like that, but I'm not indulging you.

My name is Dr. John Watson. If you require medical advice, I can provide it. Otherwise, I'm a bit busy. Thank you.

[Now for England to fret about which name to use. He's pretty sure if he tries to introduce the concept of nations, John will close up immediately, but if he's seen the previous chat logs on the network...]

Arthur Kirkland. "England" to some. I'm not really anyone of particular importance, unless being here since day one counts as important.

Today is day 246 since this session started. It depends on if it's a leap year, but by our calculations thus far, today would be either the 15th or 16th of May.

[assuming of course that i can count properly]

[Even though John doesn't remember him, the joke brings England a bit of comfort. Still as English as ever.]

Indeed. Though my American friend claims that this is unusual even for Alaska, so I guess it depends on how far you'll take the word of an American.

A few, yes. I'll make a list.

[He has to dig through his notes, but:]

∙The Beacon application made its first appearance on day 14 of the session.
∙The tunnels containing the hospital were unlocked on day 14. The hospital within was unlocked on day 35.
∙The anomalies first appeared on night 16 of the session. They didn't always look like people we know. I'm afraid I don't have an exact day for when this changed, but on day 80, everyone was followed by an anomaly that resembled someone they knew from home.
∙There was a thundersnow on day 26 of the session.
∙Former residents of Norfinbury made "appearances" beginning on day 36. This was the first time we were able to interact with them in a notable capacity.
∙We didn't begin to exhibit significant and persisting symptoms of MN poisoning until day 50 of the session.
∙The Data app containing records from SD cards appeared on night 51.
∙The downtown area was unlocked on day 76.
∙Winter, @dulcedeleche, first contacted us on day 81. This was the first time anyone claiming to be outside of Norfinbury contacted us.
∙On day 87, apparitions unlike the anomalies first appeared in the town. They seem to be rather like some ghosts—just footprints left behind by the long dead.
∙On morning 97, everyone awoke in completely different places from where they were the previous day. Nothing like this had ever happened before.
∙We were once able to contact @ADMIN for medical assistance in emergencies. These privileges were revoked on day 105.
∙We are no longer able to request medical records from @ADMIN.
∙The apartments by the museum were discovered on day 131.
∙The entrance area of the town was unlocked on day 134.
∙On day 167, we found records of the attack that destroyed most of the town.
∙The gate to the industrial zone was opened on day 196.
∙And then the southern gate of the industrial zone was opened just a few days ago.
∙I haven't got an exact date for it, but we didn't always know of the AIs and the cult of the Prophet. They came to prominence gradually throughout the strange events that have happened here.

[I hope John wanted all this information.]

Some accursed combination of a thunderstorm and a blizzard. We were advised not to travel due to the weather conditions, as I recall.

[Which is both hilarious and disconcerting when you consider the usual state of Norfinbury.]

Not to my knowledge, and certainly not with such intensity. I don't know how common they are in Alaska, though. It's not usually my first choice of location when visiting the States.

Summer in the States isn't much better. Unless it tickles your fancy to feel like you're slowly melting.

[Jokes...mostly... England wasn't built to handle American summers...]

Though I guess after a few months of this, that sounds like a blessing.
