[ The message goes up early in the day, almost immediately after Castiel wakes up. He's careful to hold his tablet the correct distance away and have it pointed at him before he starts recording - this is important, and he doesn't want anyone to be sidetracked by his confusion regarding these devices. ]

Those of you who stepped into the role of this town's Prophet last night; I need you to tell me what the beings with lights in their mouths looked like to you.

[ It's a demand as much as it is a request. He has to know if the others were being made to kill angelic effigies, immediately. Facial expressions are still something he has to make a conscious effort to preform most of the time, but even with his body language at its usual formal-neutral, there's a noticeable undercurrent of rattled desperation to his tone. Clearly the dream didn't treat him well. ]

[ That's not promising. The eyes were generally one of the first things those few humans who could see angelic forms noticed too. ]

Last night I experienced a... vision. In it, I knew that I was an individual called the Prophet, and that I had an important task to complete. I was under the impression that many of the others here went through something similar.

Were you not one of them?

I had the same vision. I didn't know anyone else was a Prophet, though.

[He scratches gloved fingers through his hair.]

I mean... It felt like I supposed to be the only one.

That is how I felt, as well. But it seems many of us were experiencing the same thing, even if we weren't "meant" to coexist while doing so.

[John was apparently in a coma yesterday when this went up, which is just great, but he responds to it once he sees it the next morning.]

Like Frisk said, lots of eyes, but that's something of a theme here along with hands.

[ He's trying to be vague about what he saw, both because he's not comfortable talking about it and because he doesn't want to influence anyone else's answer with his own. ]

Some of them. The first one was just a hand. A giant hand bigger than a person with eyes on its knuckles.

Oh. Good. [ None of his siblings appear as a single disembodied hand in their true forms. More evidence that the others were not seeing angels. ] Thank you for telling me this. None of the creatures I saw were anything like that.

Like drug-induced nightmares, mostly. Eyes, faces, hands, spider legs. Sometimes they looked familiar, sometimes they looked like something dreamed up by psychopaths.

[ That... is how some have described the angelic form, yes. But it's not conclusive. There's one thing that unites all of them and is fairly difficult to miss. ]

Did any of them have wings?

[Al's voice sounds quiet and younger than usual because of it, though it remains steady without wavering as he replies.]

I saw three, they all looked really different from each other. Why...? Did all of yours look the same?

No, not particularly. But I recognized their forms. I just wanted to be certain that no one else was seeing the same thing.

[ By now he's (almost) certain that those weren't his brethren, only crude imitations, but the idea of something compelling a group of mortals to hunt and kill creatures in angelic guise has worrying implications. He's glad that doesn't seem to be the case. ]

Were they-- did you recognise them from home?

[It's a guess based on recognising their forms, and also the fact that Norfinbury has a horrible penchant for showing people that sort of thing. He will never forget some of the anomalies that he's seen because of it.]

[The video camera is propped against one corner of the wall against his pack, and Kid is against the other edge of he corner. It leaves Castiel with a view of a scrawny, pale teen who is bundled under a black cloak, the coat that is provided to most arrivals in Norfinbury, and his own clothes and still shivering. He's got a crude dressing over what would be his right eye; dual golden irises are watching the tablet carefully from his left.

Even before he starts to talk, he is fiddling with something off screen and clearly uncomfortable. Blinking, Kid clears his throat; even still his voice is hoarse and strained.] As you have heard many state already--several sets of eyes everywhere: the palms of its' hands, hair, face, the back of its' head. Wherever you looked, there were eyes watching. Bandage-like tendrils that could restrain prey. It was quite strong.

The creature was rather familiar to me. It was reminiscent of-- [He stops, at first trying to keep from coughing. Unsuccessful, he ends up with his mouth tucked into the crook of his elbow and hacking hard. A moment later and catching his breath, he turns back to the camera; he doesn't notice the small stain of blood on the edge of his lips. He is so, so entirely over being human and sick.] E-excuse me. It was reminiscent of a grave threat in my home.

What kind of threat? [ Again, it doesn't sound like any angel he knows, but now he's curious. ] Does it normally have that many eyes, or were they a new addition?

[ Castiel pauses, slightly, before continuing. ]

You are bleeding.

Hm? [Kid first feels the bandage at his eye and finds nothing, then pressing his fingers to his mouth--he wipes the small stain away quickly, frowning.] It is nothing. Not new.

It looked very much like the kishin, formed from the collection of too many innocent human souls. [Kid swallows, glancing away from the camera.] It does not typically have that many functional eyes.

I saw a snake, but it was not a correctly constructed snake.

[ If Castiel were aware of the tendency some people in Norfinbury have towards texting each other while sitting in the exact same room, he'd be grateful that Ecks has chosen to communicate with her words instead of her tablet. Unfortunately he's not, so he just takes for granted the fact that she's acting like a reasonable person here. ]

In what ways was it incorrect?
