Aigis and Nathan
[He's somewhere different. Castiel disappeared and John had gone searching for him, for anyone. He can barely see. Salty sweat and blood burning his eyes. The snow he moves through melts beneath him. He's dragging his body across the snow in an effort to try to cool the burns across his body. It's no good, though. Nothing feels like it's enough. His body and his mind are on fire.
His hands are the size of dinner plates and his arms are unnaturally long. His clothes have partly worn away at this point, exposing the top of his chests when he lifts himself up for it. Burns cover every piece of skin, he smells like burning flesh, sizzling hair. It's a fire that can't be extinguished.
He calls out as he pulls himself along:]
Sherlock! Mary! Castiel! I'm here. Please come back. Please...
[He's so lonely.]
sorry for the wait!
[Rubbing his arms from the cold, Nathan swings around toward the sound of the voice.]
Sounds like the doc, don't it?
[But he's still just a bit too far away to make out the words. Still, sympathetic enough, he starts in the direction, trusting Aigis to make whatever decision she believes is best for herself.]

[Her eyebrows furrow in the direction that the voice came from. She can't make out the words, either, but...] He sounds... distressed.
[And ignoring a human heart in pain sounds terribly cruel. So she follows Nathan in that direction, worried for Doctor Watson.]
no subject
Nathan? Where are you?
[He can barely see between the sweat and the snow whipping up into his face.]
no subject
[Nathan picks up his speed to a jog, the distant silhouette becoming more clear, until finally--]
Oh...Jesus Christ.
[He comes grinding to a halt, stopping so fast it wouldn't be surprising if he causes Aigis to nearly crash into him. Anomaly isn't what immediately screams in his head, so instead his face blanches in horror and concern.]
What the fuck happened to you?

She stops on a dime just short of running into Nathan. As tall as he is, she has to lean around him to get a good look at Watson, and her eyes widen in shock. She takes in the extent of the burns across his body, the size of the limbs, the trail of steaming, melted snow behind him...
She steps out in front of Nathan, taking a battle stance even though she knows her weapons are useless here. Her voice takes on a hint of urgency.] We must escape. This is not the real Watson-san.

We were in the white room. Sherlock was in the room. I can't find him. I can't find anyone... Can't see. Please...
no subject
Shit, you're right.
[He sways, his throat closing in a gag reflex. Running sounds like a great idea, if he could remember how to do that. Still, the way that John's talking...it's hard not to hesitate.]
Don't know what I could do for you either way, man. This is straight fucked.
no subject
For a moment, despite her prior urgency, she's confused, like she's forgotten what must be done to escape. And Watson's desperately sad tone of voice isn't helping. She lets out a breath and chokes on it like a sob as she reaches behind her to urge Nathan with a shove and a few starting paces through the snow. Her next words are to Watson, or whoever it may be that she's trying to back away from.] We can't help you. I'm sorry.
no subject
[It's pathetic. He's pathetic. Maybe that's why Sherlock's disappeared along with Alfie and Royce and... everyone.]
I don't want to hurt you. I just... please?
[He keeps pulling himself closer as he speaks.]
no subject
Fuck...fuck!
[But then he says that. Why did he have to go ahead and say that? Nathan remembers the weight of suitcases in each hand, the sound of bus tires rolling up on asphalt, the creak of the metal door folding open before him.
It doesn't matter how cowardly you are. All you need is just a hint, a spark, of bravery, and that bastard grabs hold of your leg and holds you to the spot. Nathan stumbles, faltering, and tears at his hair.]
Maybe we could...figure something out? Make terms or...fuck, I don't know!
Quark, Diana, Junpei
Hey, Quark! Wait up!
[It's definitely House's voice that calls out through the bitingly cold air. It seems that he's somehow brought an even deeper chill with him, one that starts to freeze the bone, not just cut to it. The doctor raises an arm to wave to the group, but instead of a hand, there's only an ice sculpture where a hand should be.
The doctor's who body is crusted with ice and broken. His arms are very long and he uses them to balance himself as his bones and skin crunch against each other, leaving crystal red droplets behind from the wounds.]
those ice sculptures are so much
Mister...Mister House?
[No...it's like with Roland. It's not him.]
no subject
But those fears are petty, trivial, she realises, as she sees the strange shape of the silhouette through the snow. She can't quite see what's wrong, but something is wrong. The arms are long, bulky, strange.
She reaches out for Quark and Junpei, taking a few steps back into the snow even as she calls out in a shaky voice, on the off chance that something bad has actually happened to House.] Are you okay?
no subject
Whatever that figure coming towards them is... "Okay" seems like the total opposite.]
I. Uh. I don't think that's...
[Trailing off, it's not too clear who he's responded to. Or maybe he's talking to himself. Either way, what is obvious is as he moves a bit closer to where Diana's reaching, he's already started to make a point of staying between everyone, guarding the two he's with.
Neither of them need to see his face right now, and notice he's not any less scared at all.]no subject
[He starts moving toward the trio. There's the crunch of snow as he comes, but also the sick cracking of bone and frozen skin. The doctor's movements are shuffling, alien, wrong, as he breaks and reforms with each steps.]
Where are you guys headed? Mind if I tag along?
no subject
We're just getting some food, that's all...
[He swallows, feeling for Diana's hand and holding on tightly.]
I dunno, Mister House, you might, um...you know, scare someone.
no subject
But she can't deny what's in front of her eyes, nor the panic racing in her blood. She takes another step back and tugs at Junpei and Quark as she does so.] I don't-- [Telling people no is not her area of expertise, but she forces it out, thick with fear:] I don't think that's a good idea.
We should go.
