I thought *everyone* knew by now? He has an artificial intelligence installed in his head. A virtual copy of Handsome Jack that sees and hears everything that Rhys does.
A copy who gets incredibly angry and murderous about some things. And when he does, he overheats Rhys' port. Unintentionally! But there's blood and everything.
I'll take a healthy happy Rhys over the occasional smooch!! XP
