Sounds like monsters - anomalies have been more active lately than before, though. Anyone have any clue why?

Nope, none. They didn't start appearing until the Beacon app showed up, when I'd been here two weeks already.

Beacon app? [ He's still a little clueless, but. learning. Even if slowly with all the traveling he's been doing. ]

It's an application that comes and goes on our tablets. We're not really sure what it does, except that the Admin wants us to have it on.

If it comes and goes like that without anyone having a say, sounds like whoever this 'admin' person is just wants to track us.

But why do it like that, I wouldn't have a damn idea. I'm still trying to understand this damn place.

We all are, really. The beacons have been a big question ever since they showed up. Have you read the guides? There's all sorts of suspicious evidence of... something. We just don't know what.

Guides? [ Come to think of it, he remembers seeing mention of it the day he arrived, but... Yeah, he was a scrub and didn't think anything of it since. Considering, you know, traveling to survive and all. ] I remember seeing something about it. Didn't actually look, though.

They're pretty useful for information about what's going on. Since that's, you know, what they're for.
