Wait, you're inspecting the bodies?

[ there's so much wrong with what he's hearing and the sounds in the background, that he can't help but reply. ] The natural and violent deaths -- well, that's not exactly surprising is it? [ bad enough that the bodies were laid to rest in a mass grave, but to have someone digging them back up and messing with them? Ed isn't sure how to feel. ] We should re-bury them.

Of course it is. An original hypothesis was that this was a dumping ground for the Admin's previous test subjects, which would have been supported if there could be shown to be a consistent cause of death for all the bodies found in the gravesite. [He's not just doing this for fun.]

Yeah, I guess that makes sense, but with thees monsters being around I guess violent deaths aren't exactly that uncommon anymore.

[ he frowns, and it shows in his voice. he's died here, come back, and he's still not sure how he didn't end up in a grave like that himself. ] How long have they been there? Is there any way to tell that?

Ice preserves incredibly well. They could have been there for ten years or ten thousand.

Yeah, I wondered about that.

[ which is not encouraging. bad enough that they found the bodies, even worse that they're all trapped here and what happened to those people might very well happen to them, too. ]

Makes you wonder how many more graves there are like that. I wouldn't be surprised, this place doesn't exactly seem friendly.

It depends on how long the inhabitants were here after the snow started.
