[He's one of the people who is just calling the whole group from a distant place, Leon isn't really intereste in socializing, yet he wants to know what's going to be discussed by the group. And if possible he's going to stalk the whole meeting if someone else is broadcasting anything on the network. Sleeping? Eh, he can do that tomorrow.]

Leon here. I couldn't attend [he didn't want to] but I will be here if any important decision is taken.

I don't have many informations to offer, nor strong opinions to share. [Or, better, he's not really interested in sharing at the moment] If Anything I can let you know the resident spirits can actually interfere with your device and the beacon app to and turn it on but it's all I discovered in the past few days.

Shepard here. Thanks for calling in. [That, first of all. Shepard is highly encouraged by the turnup, both in person and in video. She wants to maintain these connections.]

I've heard of beacons getting turned on unintentionally before. Or... something like it. [There's still no certainty about what happened to Angel with the candle.] First time I hear of any spirits being involved though. What do you mean by that?

Mh...[Leon greets her with a nod of his head. He has seen her messages on the network and she seems a reliable person, at least more than others] It would be hard and stupid to ignore the first town meeting.

It seems like the resident spirits can interact with our devices as well. I upset one of them, they turned on my beacon. I am currently planning further investigations when the council is over but I picked another shelter for the night.

Also... good luck handling the meeting.

Do my best to. I wish we knew who was staying out, and why. Can't imagine why anyone would want to be alone out there... [She glances at the blizzard through the greenhouse glass, eyes dark.] But I guess this also takes some trust.

[Lots of people in small quarters. And she already knows the town doesn't exactly enjoy perfect harmony.]

Are you sure it was a... spirit? [She hesitates a little on the word. It's not usually in her lexicon.] Not some remote interface you might've just tripped up?

Why not to make a city census? If people die, the obituaries will let us know, when people arrive, pretty much every ten days if I'm not wrong, you keep track of the new arivals and ask them to introduce themselves.

[He pauses for a moment] I can offer you a whole list of reasons to travel on my own. I'm faster, I know how much I can push myself, I don't have to follow other people's plans focusing my attention where I want to search, I on't have to share resources if I find them and I need them. [Not like he isn't collecting things for the others, mind you, but he had no one to fight with for his blanket or his wonderful pink fluffy hat.]

Also, I have my beacon on now, I'd rather have a small little 'free dinner here' on my head instead than traveling with a giant neon sign asking the monsters to approach me. That and I won't endager any non beaconed person as well. [And he could go on.

I am not unfamiliar with Artificial Intelligences, It didn't seem to be one. And considering the items I saw in the house it may even be the owner's spirit.
