[network/audio] @LELRIC; GUIDES; Day 62
A: Network (Audio); Morning; Open to All
Hey, everyone, it's Alphonse here.
[He clears his throat a little awkwardly. He hates having to open the wounds of Clarke's death, but it's necessary to touch on it when discussing the guide she made.]
Clarke hasn't-- she's still gone, but her work and the efforts she made to try and help everyone here aren't something that we should let fade away. I've taken over maintaining the survival guide that she made. I've done some editing to make sure the information is as up to date as possible, but a lot of the people who offered to be listed there in order to help aren't-- they're not here any longer.
[Which is a nice way of saying dead. Well over half the contacts on there, not to mention the two original authors, are all dead and gone.]
So I'm asking for anyone who has useful skills, knowledge, or just a desire to help to come forwards so that we can make sure there's always someone to turn to if they're needed.
Thanks.
[And a link to the survival guide will be put up for general perusal.]
B: Network (Audio); Evening; Open to All
[As night has fallen and Al is faced with another long evening of being trapped inside, his mind turns to how to keep morale up here. It worries him that people like Zack, who had once been so full of hope and fire, is now so drawn and subdued. This place is rough on them all, the losses and injuries of dear friends take their toll on everyone, and it's easy to lose hope.
It scares him that eventually people will simply stop fighting, and he can't let that happen.
Maybe he can make a slight difference just by breaking up the serious discussion over the network with something lighter, something to help people ease their troubles just for a short while and remember how to smile or laugh. But he doesn't really know any jokes or funny stories, or-- or does he? Tim has, after all, taught him one joke from his home.
A self conscious throat clearing echoes over the tablets, before Al pipes up.]
I think I might have found something important, but I'm not sure what it means. Could you help me?
[This link is sent publicly out to everyone. The man playing in the clip is Tim Wright. Al still isn't sure why this is supposed to be funny, but he hopes he executed the joke right based on what he was taught.]

text; @emmanellain, evening
Furthermore, who is he?
@TW; text
it's sir tim, lord of all that is right
his music and his sideburns hold the power to ensnare the hearts of everyone around him
avert your eyes asap lest his radiance blind you or w/e

no subject
you know he has eyes everywhere right
and he takes comments like that v personally
once he's done crying he'll crawl out of the nearest vent so he can smite you man
rip
no subject
Does he now? He sounds rather dreadful, though seeing as he's but a hyur, I have my doubts any smiting will honestly occur.
However, I thank you for the warning.
[HE HAS HIS BIG BROTHER WITH HIM, HE'S UNTOUCHABLE... FOR THE MOST PART.]

are there any vents nearby
put an ear up against one man see if you can hear it rattling
if you can you're 100% doomed dude sorry
I tried to warn you
but sir tim's reach knows no bounds

I see not what issue there is in being called what he is. Unless he finds being a hyur unfavorable, but, I suppose I do understand that. Cannot say that if I had the choice I would be one myself, after all.
[{Elezen} {Master} {Race} etc etc]
I will be full sure to keep mine ear out for any rattling, old boy, or girl, I suppose. But it certainly does seem he is not prompt to assail me as of yet. Perhaps he is too busy attempting to hone his musical talents.
[He can talk big, but he keeps looking at the vent...]
audio @LELRIC
Oh. Actually it's supposed to be a joke, a friend of mine told me that playing this song when you said it was something else was funny and I thought everyone could use a little laugh.
audio
A joke? Forgive me, old boy, but I cannot see the humor. Perhaps there's just a cultural divide. That being said, 'tis rather kind gesture regardless, despite what failings it may have.
no subject
[They can be confused together.]
But my friend Tim taught me the joke and assured me that people from his home think it's hilarious. I think he said it was more about the surprise, that you're not expecting the song to be there.

[He pauses a moment, pondering that name.]
Would this "Tim" be a "Sir Tim, lord of all that is right"?
[If so, then his suspicions might yet yield him the truth behind that person texting him...]
