I'm not...I'm not expecting anything! I didn't say that!

[Ginger's baffled, honestly. Why is he putting words in her mouth? Does she come off as that bad of a person? She doesn't understand! None of this makes sense! And for that reason, she's not really keeping her voice down anymore. It's hard to focus on being subtle when you're getting emotional.]

Go ahead and call that being honest, I call it being rude.

[She backs up, biting her lip, and feeling a pang of regret. Maybe she shouldn't have called him rude? Maybe that was rude? She didn't mean for the conversation to turn into something like this...and she doesn't think that Beckett's really that bad of a person, he's just in bad mood right now! But...no! Gosh darn it, her big sister would tell her to stand up for herself so that's what she's going to do!]

Just because I'm an easy target doesn't mean I'm just going to, like, let you take out your frustrations on me. So, like, take it easy tonight and feel better. I won't bother you again.

[Putting her foot down in a figurative and literal sense, Ginger swivels around. She'll just go find some other corner to be out of the way in. Somewhere where people are less mean for no reason. Unless Beckett says something exceptional, she'll make no move to stop and continue talking.]
