Then I guess they're useless. To you, anyway. Unless you get a cold bad enough to make you risk taking mysterious mystery pills, I guess. You might wanna avoid rolling around in the snow.

( useless, and strange, but Hook is going to try and take them along anyway. He's got a pouch of sorts, he doesn't need the box itself. he's not going to tell that to a stranger, though, pirates and their secrets and everything. )

Not a lot of option when it comes to getting about, now is there? Unless I want to stay here until I freeze to death.

( granted, the fact he's wet right now has nothing to do with snow. it has to do with diving in murky basements. that's neither here nor there. )

I didn't explore much but I didn't see one.

( and he's probably not wrong it'd make it easier to get around but it likely won't keep Hook dry, not when he dove into flooded basements for the pleasure anyway. )
