Okay snowy wonderland and also the doors lock really well at a certain time. Seems like a mystery. Has anyone found anything about why we're here? Also does this place just seem....weird? I know stupid question considering we've been kidnapped but this place is....creepy seems the best word for it. I want to know what happened to the people here but I have a feeling I'm not going to like the answers.

I can't say I have much information right now. All I know is that I was in Megaton in my house and then I woke up here. And most people I've pissed off would have just shot me instead of dragging me off somewhere so I'm a bit confused.

We must be somewhere the bombs didn't get close to, maybe Canada.... there doesn't seem to be any radiation in the area.

I found a book full of pictures here. The last one is of a large, important-looking building with a small crowd of people gathered outside it. I suspect finding that building is a good place to start looking for answers. It is too dark to take a picture of the picture in question right now, however.

Normal for the affluent upper and middle class able to afford it. More precisely, they're expensive pieces of technology, but they're certainly available for the mass markets' consumption. These seem a tad more advanced than the ones I've seen, but I'm willing to bet my nonexistent money at the moment that they're descended from the same sort of technology.
