[network] @ADMIN; Obituary and Announcement [Day 050]
We mourn the loss of those who have died in the time between the last announcement and this one:
Zelda
Lynne
In addition, we have adjusted the behavior of wandering anomalies. We will continue to adjust until parameters are met.

What do you mean by wandering anomalies?
text; @haurchefant
you mean those creatures/
?

Man, I have a bad feeling about this.
The creatures are probably normal here.
With the houses being made of metal
You know, the same metal you threw at one and landed an actual hit.

but if these 'anomalies' are not the monsters then what?
weather patterns?
us?

It's probably us.
Which doesn't sound good for us. Not at all.

but
something bothers me in this,.
If we are the anomalies then they did not mean to bring us here.
so why provide us with food and these 'tablets'? why do aught at all/?

Man, that's a creepy thought. That there are more than just the admin pulling stuff.
The other possibility is we're the side effects of whatever the hell happened here.
Like they can't stop people from appearing here so they are making the most of our appearance.
[This is giving him too many Odine brand vibes. Yeesh.]

Something wrong with the aether?
[Haurchefant's always been more interested in solutions to problems than causes of problems. It's hard for him to imagine what must have happened here, though he is trying.]

For here though, it's the houses.
They are made of metal.
I could understand if it was just the frames made of metal, but it doesn't stop there.
The walls are made of it. The doors. Even up in the attics of some houses.
They are built to keep something in or out. Probably both.

If anything, it seems more likely that they were part of the cataclysm that took place here.

Like locked up some where.
Wasn't there something about protests and not needing babysitters?
It could be that people had curfews because the monsters only came out at night or something.
There is also the beacon thing people were talking about.
Why is there something that attracts monsters?
[Though...who would want to attract monsters in the first place was also a crazy line of thought. Because if it could be remotely activated...
Yeesh.]

[Not that she can see it, but "all of this" refers to the mess that just went down - Clayton's missing, all the energy seems to be sapped from him, and Quark is much worse, and everything seems so bleak. That Clayton is still alive somewhere affords him a tiny sliver of hope, at least.]
But do you have any idea where he might be?

But he can't settle for being glad he's alive right now.]
But in what state? He might have only lost his tablet, but that's only one possibility, and all the others are so worrisome.
[Should he go north and look for him? Go south and look for Clem? There's a precious life at stake either way and struggling with the choice drains what little energy he has.]

Oh and if you could send username guardian a new tablet, I-- she would be really grateful. Hers got stolen.
