There's a certain tone to Peter's voice that Flynn immediately recognizes, the (fake) memories coming in strong, and the reaction is immediate; anger, dismay, denial, more anger. No really, it's mostly anger, pretty much. He tries to think, to be reasonable about this because it's not real. It's different than last time, it's just a death price. It will pass.

But there are some things he can't be reasonable about and this, this is one of them because there's too many emotions, too much trauma tied into it. Especially when Peter apparently died and this right here is the last, the very last way he wants to learn about it.]
