[network] @beyonce | night 392 | audio | Check on It [open]
[As usual, Stephen doesn't show his face on the network. He sounds tired, but that isn't new, either.]
Good evening, Norfinbury.
As most of you will recall, two months ago we were able to contact the...remnants of the former residents of Norfinbury and of the people subjected to former sessions. We discovered that they had become a kind of digital hive mind; they were interested in helping us, though they were limited in the ways in which they could interact with us. Since then, particularly since we located Andromeda's body, the town has been going quiet--you may have noticed the feeling of emptiness in many of the houses, particularly those that formerly may have seemed to be haunted.
I propose that we attempt contact again. It's possible that the data ghosts are...dead...but if there's still some remnant of them residing in the recesses of the network I'd like to re-establish that contact, ask their advice, ask whether they have any additional assistance they can offer us at this time...and ask whether they have any final wishes we can still carry out on their behalf.
The seance will take place in three nights' time, on the evening of day three hundred and ninety-five. I have...some experience in spiritual matters, and can provide guidance for anyone who is unsure how to open themselves to that form of communication. Those who volunteer should be aware that the process was...unpleasant for some of us. You may have an out of body experience or undergo an upsetting vision. Those who participated before can share more details if you are concerned, but as far as I'm aware no one was injured in the last attempt.
...And thank you, in advance.

@Spoiler; audio
That feels like years ago already.
I didn't play along last time because I didn't think anything would happen, but you can count on me this time.

And the experience wasn't really unpleasant? Odd, yeah, but not unpleasant. If any of you want to know what it feels like to be sentient electricity, this is the mission for you.

I don't know what I hope for, honestly. I would like to know for certain they're laid to rest, but we can't be certain of any permanence in what we do, knowing that doors previous sessions unlocked closed for sessions after them.
I will join this. I want to speak with them again, if they're still there.
[And he's got kind of an unresolved thing regarding them only a couple people might even consider but the less said about that the better.]

On the balance, it was far from the worst experience I've had since coming here.

[Which is disconcerting. It's weird; he was never the biggest fan of ghosts but them having gone so silent doesn't bode well.]
I think it's a good idea. Count me in.

[Those do sound like good goals. It would be frustrating to risk injury for nothing, but he has to have faith that the citizens here know better than he does.]
I've seen a ghost or two in my life, but I've never participated in a seance. If there's anything I should do or be aware of, let me know.

[He's not going to kick someone out of the seance club just because they're annoying and have a megalomaniac for an older brother.]
Anything in particular you're planning? Location, specific ghosts...?

I suppose it's not an entirely ridiculous idea. I'll assist as well.

Good. We need all the warm bodies we can get for this.
(LMAO I meant to put @theiceman)
XD I didn't even catch it
