idkmybffjesus: (That's got to be a double-dog sin.)

Cairo? That didn't make it onto my Frequent Flier Miles map, where's that?

Cairo, Egypt. I'm sure you've at least heard of it, right?
idkmybffjesus: We didn't have pizza, but we had commerce. (Yes. We had commerce in my time.)

Egypt, Egypt, let's see... oh! Hang on — African kingdom, Nile river? That Egypt?

Yes! I've been living there for about a year now. [Or he...was. Coughs.]

What prompted moving to New York, if you don't mind my asking?
idkmybffjesus: "Yes," Joshua said. (Are all women stronger & better than me?)

[personal profile] idkmybffjesus 2015-09-20 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you know, I died and one of the Heavenly Host resurrected me and then dragged me on an airplane to New York City. [ so casual, almost bored: ] My first time seeing a plane. Pretty terrifying.

Ah, of course. [He says as if Biff were talking about a regular Tuesday. Not that he's going to discount him, though...]

I don't know, I thought planes were rather exciting the first time I saw them. I suppose it depends on what you're already used to...
idkmybffjesus: whenever you wanted to! You're using it in ways it was never intended for. (I never said you could use sarcasm)

[personal profile] idkmybffjesus 2015-09-20 12:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[ what, there are other people that had a first time with them?? ]

Why, what were you used to?

Ships, horse-drawn carriages, things like that. I'm getting the feeling that isn't the case for you, though.
idkmybffjesus: We didn't have pizza, but we had commerce. (Yes. We had commerce in my time.)

[personal profile] idkmybffjesus 2015-09-22 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, excuse you! We had ships and horses. Usually chariots though, not carriages. Or camels, those were a popular option.

Really. My mistake, then.

And you're being completely serious about this whole thing? [He knows that Enoch isn't lying about it or under some delusion, the man's just too sincere about everything. This guy seems a little more irreverent, although that's a weirdly specific thing to joke around about.]
idkmybffjesus: "Yes," Joshua said. (Are all women stronger & better than me?)

[personal profile] idkmybffjesus 2015-09-23 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Buddy, I just woke up in a strange place I've never seen before with no idea what's going on again. I wouldn't even know where to start lying.

[He ain't insinuating that you're lying, pal. Then again, can he really go with the other option and think that he's crazy, considering Dio's entire life up to this point?

Probably not!]

Good point. There's a primer that everyone put together if you want to read through that, but the short version is someone dropped us here in the middle of this snowy hell hole for...some reason.

[Reasons that they still haven't figured out yet, oh joy of joys.]
idkmybffjesus: We didn't have pizza, but we had commerce. (Yes. We had commerce in my time.)

[personal profile] idkmybffjesus 2015-10-01 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, yeah, Unfun Al got me started on something like that. Talk about your hefty reading material. [ which is to say, he appreciates the truncated version. ]

Hey, quick question, are we in the mountains?

[personal profile] itsasteamroller 2015-10-13 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
It's...hard to say. We're surrounded by these ice walls, so no one can tell if we're near mountains or the ocean or much else. We might be in the United States, I know that much.
