No. [ He rolls over, back facing Alfie, and curls up. ] He's sick, too.

[He puts a hand on the barrier, ignoring how weird it feels to be able to touch something that looks like it shouldn't be solid. Don't break his heart, buddy.]

You don't have to go. [ He says, opening his eyes again and looking up at her. ] It's... different, now. But you don't have to go. You can stay. There's - there's still room.

Alfie decides to go quiet for a moment, letting him talk.]

Maybe it's because sometimes, out of the corner of his eye, he still thinks he sees the sun shining.]

[ But it doesn't seem to matter. She's there, and then she's not, and it doesn't make any sense. Royce rests his forehead against the barrier, and stares down at the floor. ]
