Dr. Watson. [His voice is very calm, steady.] From the sound of it, it's the people with the red lines. I'm wondering if the perception issues are affecting Mr. Miller and Eve now, too.

[Nathan's an idiot but not in the sense that he can't tell that that's very, very troubling to consider. He goes quiet as he swallows.]

On a scale of minor inconvenience to majorly fucking fucked--how fucked does that make us?

Fucking fucked beyond all reasonable fucking doubt. [John's not prone to swearing that heavily, but in this instance and with this young man...] But I think we're going to survive, Nathan. [Not that that's entirely comforting considering what they might be surviving.]

And for the moment, we're all coherent with our senses and movements intact. We can take advantage of that. Can you tell me what you can see? What there is in your cell? Maybe there are some differences that might give us a few clues. I've got a toilet in here with a sink, but no shower. Then just what looks like polished white walls like we've seen before and some sort of... forcefield thing. Looks like it's tinted blueish.

[Man, he's not down for being the beautiful, tragic star of a torture porn flick. At least the good doctor gives him something to think about. He sighs, rubbing his face, and swings around to look and see if he can find anything unusual based on the description he's provided.]

I'm getting fuck all over here that you don't have in yours. Prison bathroom, white walls, glowing...bullshit.

What about clothes? My supplies and clothes are gone. I'm in a white jump suit that could stand to be a size or two larger.

[John almost never has to complain about clothes being too small. How novel!]

[Nathan snorts.]

And for the record, the bodysuit isn't exactly making me feel any more comfortable that maybe this isn't some kind of fucked up fetish shit.

Mr. Miller's a sadist from everything we saw during the emergency repairs... games he made us play. I'm wondering if it's just him doing all this, though. He said 'I'm going to fix you.' The Admin was fighting against him in the games, as well, to try to protect everyone. At least that's what they made it out to be.

[Nathan pinches his nose. He isn't really cut out for this kind of thing.]

Bobby boy abducted us, but he's theoretically trying to help, but the Admin could be against him doing anything with us and also setting us free? Who the fuck are we supposed to root for, here?

Ourselves. I don't much trust either of them, mate. Eve's at least shown she's not a sadist, though. But I don't reckon we can count on them coming to our aid. We had to beg to get the Admin to change things from the tower when people were being held by the cult.

So, we're rooting for the underdog, is what you're saying. Classic. Yeah, I can get behind that. Who doesn't love an underdog?

[He raps his knuckles against the wall sharply twice, just a little reminder that he's physically there, not just a voice, even while they can't see each other.]
