[network] @igjwerkekhgjghkl; video, morning of 352 [open]
[It's been over a week since Lilly bolted from Kesara, during which time she's stayed entirely off of the network. But she's had a chance to calm down, and so this morning, she's decided she wants to make something very clear.
The tablet is lying flat and facing up, giving everyone a very nice view of the ceiling and no view at all of Lilly. This seems to be more by chance than by purposeful choice, though - she's clearly close by, judging by her voice, and every so often she'll lean into view and give everyone a brief shot of her arm or hair. She, like so many other people, is covered in a mysterious pattern of red lines.
Before starting, she takes a deep breath. This is going to involve more talking than she usually likes to do, but she really wants to get her point across.]
Stay away. Don'wanna go wif you. Don'wanna go wif-- anybody. Stay away.
[What a friendly child she is.]
Don'touch don'grab don'take DON'T. Don'like it. I don't. Like. It. Too many too loud too hard hate it.
[She finishes with an irritable snarl, then bats the tablet away, sending it spinning dizzyingly across the floor. Its films the ceiling and distant sounds of scrabbling for a few minutes before cutting out on its own.]

@godsend, video
Okay, kiddo. Sorry people have been pulling you around.
Do you have food? Do you know how to get it?
@igjwerkekhgjghkl; video
[On both counts. That does lead into one of her other gripes, though.]
No bugs no squirrels no snakes.
[How is she supposed to eat properly if there aren't any bugs around? Honestly.]
no subject
No. No animals at all, except for the few we've brought with us. There are places where food is left for us. Things like fruit and vegetables and candy and bars, and sometimes dried meat. We have to go pick it up.
If you want, I can tell you where these places are. You can go get it yourself.
[ Maybe? If she's refusing to travel with people, and she hasn't died yet, she might be able to figure out how to make it. ]
no subject
[Not really; she's the opposite of a picky eater, and has happily eaten everything she's found so far, up to and including dog biscuits. She's just sulking.]
Whewe?
[She's found a couple places, but doesn't yet know the difference between legit food drop-off points, and houses where food can occasionally be found.]

I was pulling her around for her own good. She is not going to survive on her own for long.
@godsend; voice; private
But she doesn't trust any of us right now- I'm trying to at least get her some information, and maybe we can find her again from there. It sounds like she's close to the school, at least.

[Stop lying, horrible child.]

I wouldn't make you do anything or go anywhere. Just want to make sure you are safe and have food. Maybe blankets.
@igjwerkekhgjghkl; video
[That sounds appealing - more appealing than food, which she hasn't felt the lack of yet.]
@igjwerkekhgjghkl; video
[His voice is warm, gentle, and completely undemanding. He hasn't turned the video on yet, because his face is a horrorshow of scarlet eyes and red thorns.]
So you can be warm when you sleep. Have you got any yet?
no subject
Know whadda blanket is.
[Talking to other people is better like this, she thinks. It's easier and less overwhelming when she can make them go away with the touch of a button (or by throwing the tablet across the room).]
I wan'it. Whewe?

He draws a little stick figure girl with a butterfly on her face hiding behind a building while some other stick figures pass by. She's gonna have to try if she wants to remain hidden.*
@igjwerkekhgjghkl; video
The first thing she draws is an X in a circle, just to let him know that she remembers. Then she draws a big house with a smaller house next to it, and scribbles a big X over the big house's front door. If he's familiar with the unusual setup of house 31, this might look a little familiar.]
no subject
He draws a little dog to symbolize that house. Then draws a pair of houses below it. One of them has little heat waves coming out of it. She might want to check out the hot water.
He pauses for awhile and then draws people at that house and the little butterfly girl leaving it. He's not sure if there are still people there a lot but she probably won't want to stay long.*

Overload.
You know what Rhys has been adapting to, bit by bit?
...not the exact same thing, but. He knows being overwhelmed. All too well. And he remembers this kid from the pit, though very, very distantly. ]
We-- hey. Then. You can take care of yourself?
@igjwerkekhgjghkl; video
[She says this with utter conviction. Yup, completely self-sufficient at age six, that's her.]

Coatl.
[Look, she remembers; why haven't you been remembering? What's your deal?]
