[Ecks is not above literally twisting his arm to make him stop -- not enough to cause damage, but enough to be painful.]

We are seriously doing this because you are lying and you are not being a good boy.

[America winces when Ecks twists his arm, but she's obviously not breaking it or anything, and he kind of deserves it. Still, he doesn't like watching, and drops his pack on the ground to grab some sheets.]

[House hisses at the twist and goes still for the moment.]

How do you know I'm lying?

[Let's try to out-logic her.]

I said I'd be a good boy when you let me up.

[ecks]

You lie frequently.

[She relaxes her grip; she doesn't want to hurt him when he isn't doing anything.]

...Do you pinkie swear that you will not go into the pit?

Yep!

[He will absolutely break that promise.]

[fifty]

You gotta make him actually do the pinkie swear. [It's impossible to tell if America actually believes this will work or if he just wants to see House do a pinkie swear.]

[ecks]

[Ecks considers this and decides that it is, indeed, a wise point. She lets go of House with her one and only hand, only holding him down with her body weight and her stumpy arm, and shifts to poke her pinkie demandingly at one of his hands.]

Pinkie swear it.

[This is stupid and you suck, America. House hooks his pinkie with Ecks'.]

Now get off.

[fifty]

[For the record, America is 1000% ready to grab him as soon as he makes a move for the pit. Gonna put all that military training to good use. He addresses Ecks while watching House.]

Whaddya think?

[ecks]

I think he pinkie swore and because he is my friend he will keep his pinkie swear.

[She's not entirely sure of that, actually. But she does move to get off from on top of him.]

[Dream on, Ecks. As soon as she's off, House pushes himself up... and lunges for the pit.]

[fifty]

[America lunges like a coiled up spring at House. It's super rude to break a pinkie promise!]

[ecks]

[Ecks, too, leaps. She's perfectly ready for all three to go down in a heap. Also perfectly ready to drive her fist into Doctor House's kidney if she doesn't miss.]

[House is flattened by America, then double-flattened and jabbed in the stomach, rather than the kidney. It knocks the breath out of him, though, and he's rendered momentarily speechless and gasping like a landed fish.

He tries to flail a little bit under the combined weight, but he knows he's defeated. They're not going to let him up again after the first time. Damn it!]

[Now Ecks is on top of him and he's on top of House, but even with his strength severely lacking he's more than strong enough to get everyone back up again and keep a hold on House.] You totally just broke a pinkie promise.

[More seriously, did House really think that was going to work?]

[ecks]

[Oh, they're getting up. Ecks does her best to help rather than hinder...America, that is. She keeps a tight grip on House's clothing.]

He did. He broke a pinkie promise because he is a liar. I want to tie him up now.

[Look, it was worth a shot. House works on regaining his breath before casting as baleful a glare as a man can when he's got a nose that might be broken and bruises all over the place.]
