Hey, the offer's been open, but I'm not getting the bites. I guess I'm losing my magic in more than one way.

[Seriously. How could you not want to hit that like the fist of an angry god? He is, literally, the best piece of tail in town.]

Hey, we actually do have tools. It would be worth a try, if all else fails.

I have a shovel, a fireplace poker, and an indominable spirit. Where there's a seam, there's a way.

[Except there's no seams. Which is sort of a problem. But he's trying, okay?]

I - well, that - it's probably more because - I mean -it's cold, Rhys, nobody wants to get naked.

[ Aaaaand she's bright red. Maybe she's not so good at the teasing thing after all. ]

Oh, but - if we're talking about sharp pointy things, do you want some of my glass? It's been pretty useful.

[ She shrugs her bag off her shoulder, rummages for a moment, then draws out a long and wickedly-sharp shard of glass wrapped in faded yellow rags that she offers to Rhys. ]

I have a few pieces, so it's no trouble giving you one! They're made out of the same glass as the windows in town, so they're almost unbreakable. As strong as the walls are, anyway, and you know how tough those are.

[Rhys chuckles.]

Well, I could say something about generating body heat, but. Yeah. It's not exactly the ideal dating scene.

[He'll settle for cuddling, anyway. It's also very good.

At the glass, he perks, looking over curiously and reaching over when the bundle is offered. With the care of someone used to handling weapons, he tests the edge carefully on his well-bitten thumbnail. See, Angel? He can be trusted with pointy things.]

Holy shit. How did you break it in the first place?

Found it already broken. There was a house down near one of the walls that was half caved in, and one of the windows was in pieces. We gathered it up after testing that it was the same glass used elsewhere - it's probably one of the better things I've found, honestly.

 

 

Not as good as the stick-on rhinestones, but what is.

You found rhinestones? Wow. That might be the best thing yet here. And I was excited about the bath bombs I found.

[He gives a pleased nod as he tucks the glass away, carefully.]

This is going to be super useful. I'll wrap the bottom with duct tape, make a real knife-thing out of it. I've got a regular knife, but I haven't got a way to sharpen it regularly.
