I keep wanting to think those are the people who got out. That every one was able to get their consciousness back into their real body. Their real world. But...

I'm starting to wonder if that's too much to hope for.

Just long enough to get the feeling we're not going home anytime soon. Not alive, anyway. Sure, if you don't mind the cold, it's not that bad. Free food, free housing...

But it's almost been a year, for some of you, and the gate's still shut? ... I'm kinda used to getting out faster than that.

Two hundred and eighty-something, for me. It took a lot longer for me to escape the last place. And since I technically didn't even leave there before coming here, does it even really count?

Maybe you should be giving out tips. Where'd you escape from? Uh, assuming that isn't too personal.

I wouldn't say I've got any. It was a replica of the Gigantic-- or, I guess some people call it the Britannic? The thing was, unlike here, we had instructions. All we had to do was follow them. I didn't think it was that straightforward at the time, but compared to all this... Solving puzzles, collecting keys, and making it to the exit while some of us were still alive was kinda.. easy.
