[Quark is a little boy from a world that has very, very few animals left that aren't feral. The ones here he's basically never had the chance to really interact with. At least not for very long, or in a positive capacity. And especially feeling distressed, a cat paying attention to him where he sits and tries quietly not to devolve into a formal breakdown, is basically heaven.

Quark gulps down air to try and stabilize his breathing and begins to reach toward Bluestar with a shaking hand. He wipes his face with the other.]

Hi...I'm Quark.

[The hand he stretched out to Bluestar pauses.]
