[No text today! Instead, the viewers of Norfinbury get a video showing a weird orange bird guy filmed from inside a house. In addition to the shades, behind which a faint orange glow is visible, he's got on the standard peacoat people receive here. It's the same violent shade of orange as the rest of him.]

Hey. A bunch of you already know by now, but the name's Davesprite, and I'm this thing called a sprite and I'm part crow.

[He caws demonstratively.]

But I'm posting this because House and I just did some experiments about the whole nonhuman thing yesterday. See, some people were positing that maybe I only look weird because of distorted perceptions and junk, so we wanted to test basically if I'm the way I should be or not.

Thing one, I've got a hole through the middle of my chest where my sword used to go, because sprites are weird. Don't worry about it. Watson told me how normal objects found here go right through anomalies, but stuff coated in rubble dust hits them. So he and Sherlock wanted me to try to stick some rubble in my sword hole. Spoilers, it worked.

Thing two, my blood's bright yellow like somebody cracked a glowstick open, and it doesn't look like a human's under a microscope. Since the admin said my bloodtype's been "adjusted", House wanted to inject some of it into himself to see if he could. And that worked too.

If you want to go and lecture us about how that was dangerous and stupid and we could have gotten ourselves killed: Yeah, I know, but too late. Sometimes you gotta be stupid to get science done. And now we've confirmed that looking nonhuman is still real and not just some illusion cast on our senses via the nanomachines, and that regular humans can accept "adjusted" blood with the right type.

Thing three's got nothing to do with the experiments, but House wanted me to share that he found an SD card back on day 183 with Andromeda and Winter talking some more. If you saw the post I made about the card I found a while back, the one where they were talking about the cult? It sounds like this one relates to that.

[Here at the end Davesprite links a few files. First are video recordings of him and House performing the experiments described above. His blood in the relevant experiment is indeed a yellow as he said and slightly luminescent. Along with this he includes a couple photos of his blood taken under a microscope. The blood cells aren't human or avian, but a shape that looks somewhere between both.]

This conversation doesn't involve you. Myself and the good Doctor were posturing, and now you've gone and made quite the statement for yourself. After all that talk of wanting to keep me safe.... I apologize for the interruption, Doctor.

[He might have to side with House on the killing thread of thought. After all, he had been offered pleasantries and now was earning threats. It confirmed that House's personality might not jive with his Soldier's.]

Who said anything about allying with anyone? We were having a discussion before you interrupted, and besides, I'm certain the Doctor is smart enough to make decisions on who he wishes to speak to.

[The only sound that comes from Bucky's end of the conversation is a literal growl, before a smash as the tablet hits the wall and the conversation cuts off.

He made a stupid move here, so stupid and rash. Now it's even more important to get his username changed.]

[That definitely was not the most well-played hand, but he wasn't surprised by it at all. The tablet smashing was actually fairly routine by now and seemed to occur in every conversation with the Soldier that he was involved in. Temper, temper.

Of course, he was now even more interested in House, especially if any of that long-winded talk was true about associating with some of the more dangerous individuals here.]

Apologies. However, if you call that one a psycho killer where I can find it, I will see that you understand the full scope of his abilities, Doctor. We mustn't speak so harshly of a weapon that has been dulled by circumstances beyond his control.

[Something cold settles in the pit of House's stomach, and very suddenly, he wishes Bucky were still part of this conversation.]

Of that, I have no doubt. However, it's currently not in your best interests to smear against me, now is it? He doesn't like you, and I happen to. I think that puts me square between you and him at this point. Besides, he's coming for me, which means he has no reason to go for you. And the more he acts just like this, the less likely people are to take his word against mine.

[Okay. This game just became exponentially more dangerous... and far more exhilarating as a result. There's adrenaline starting to pump through him, and it's not just drugs the doctor's addicted to.]

You don't. However, I won't. That doesn't interest me; I am playing the long-game. His contribution to it is little more than a side-show.

I suppose that's for your powers of deduction to figure out, isn't it? You've been so astute so far. Like I said, him snapping, particularly publicly, paints a very vivid picture for people.

I'm a huge fan of Orwell. Have you read Heinlein? He has another good appreciation for a future. Well, I'm certainly not the King of the board. Maybe the Queen; I prefer versatility in all directions. What piece would you be, Doctor?

But you need to get to the bottom of each puzzle, so I suspect there are times of need where you personally get your hands involved. That does make you a King, I suppose. Small tiny motions, ordering the others about, but when you fall, the game you play is over.
