[Trust him, he knows. Not because he's a doctor, but because of the way Sylar acts, the clues are all there for anyone to read.]
I think he would have preferred it if he had suffered from one, at least that would have given his life distinction.

[While he's semi-alert, Sherlock may be able to note the signs of someone drugged on sedatives.]
I'd just be a liability to you lot tonight. M'sorry.
no subject
Perhaps not, but you will at least be able to defend yourself if others come in and find you helpless. It's just what they would want, John, to find one of us in such a compromised position.

Perfectly good pair of handcuffs. It'd be a waste to break them. If you can find Kid, get the keys back, then we can do it that way.
[And since Sherlock still isn't getting bandages, John lets go of his arm to grasp his shoulder and attempt to forcibly turn him toward John's backpack where it's out of reach across the floor. The doctor has his tablet sitting nearby, that's it, though, along with a bottle of water. He's eaten the food Sylar left.]
Please get your arm, Sherlock.

[He sounds annoyed, clearly mostly at himself. He recalls stopping himself from really trying to go after the boy, as if he owed anything to any of those creatures just because that one happened to be a child, and he shouldn't have.
Sighing, he pulls free from John so that he can go to the backpack and gather the supplies he's been told to get.]
I will block the door when I leave to stop any others finding you.
[Because he does have to leave, the night is young and there are so many to kill.]
no subject
Okay. Just... make sure you come back in the morning once you find Kid again. He can't be that hard.
[John frowns.] You can stop him dead if you point out something asymmetrical. He can't resist fixing it. OCD.
no subject
Noted.
[He grins suddenly, rakishly, and winks as he turns back to his friend.]
Don't worry, John, I'll be back before you know it.
no subject
John mirrors the grin as best he can, though it's a little lopsided with his eye socket hurting.]
The game is on. Good luck, Sherlock. I know you'll do the right thing tonight.
no subject
Sherlock very deliberately pops the collar of his coat and turns so that it fans out dramatically around him, before striding out of the room.]
