s'up dude

[He's not so much of an idiot as to come out of hiding just because someone tells him to, even if that someone is a person that he's slowly starting to trust.

It might be for the best if he creeps away without engaging, but the crunch of snow under his boots gives away his position even with how stealthy he can be. He hisses to himself softly in annoyance, before he whips around defensively.]

You don't want to do this, Tony.

[The slip gives away Bucky's position and Tony turns toward the noise sharply. He's not armed, thankfully, but his posture is aggressive and full of intent. His expression turns to a sneer when Bucky, already marked with his sins, presumes to tell him what he thinks.]

You think you know me? You don't know anything about me, scum.

[His expression completely smooths out into a neutral mask, making him look much more the Soldier than before. It's just easier, it lets the barbs roll right off him.]

I know you're an Avenger, and Avengers protect people, they don't hunt them down.
definingfuture: (T - Your face is wrong.)

[personal profile] definingfuture 2016-11-24 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
What the Hell would you know about being an Avenger?

[It's an insult to have this Bucky of all people tell him about his job. When he stalks forward, he's definitely looking for a fight.]

You think just because you know a few in your world that means anything? You barely know them. You've just been running since we met. You have no idea who the Avengers are.
advanced: (unimpressed)

[personal profile] advanced 2016-11-24 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't need to know who they are, to know what they are.

[He stands his ground as Tony stalks forwards, but he's ready to block any blow that comes his way, fight or flight with adrenaline coursing through him.]

I've seen it in you three, I know it from Steve, the Avengers are heroes. Real heroes. You don't do things like this.
definingfuture: (IM - Catching the flaming blue discus.)

[personal profile] definingfuture 2016-11-26 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh. He scowls at that, his expression twisting into something menacing.]

You aren't a real hero! You don't get to tell me how I should be. You're a criminal, Bucky, worse than the others. They're just filthy vandals that want to wreck a good thing because they're stupid, but you know better.

[He does move in and take a swing, and thankfully he isn't armed so Bucky is safe even with one arm. The action is even too brash, an impulsive lunge because Bucky mentioned Steve and Tony, even controlled by the prophet, just can't bear to have Cap's memory hanging over him.]
advanced: (glaring)

[personal profile] advanced 2016-11-26 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
[His teeth grit. It hurts to be called worse than the others, because it's in line with the whispers in his head, but he refuses to let it show outwardly more than that. Whatever this is, it isn't Tony.]

You're right, I'm not a hero.

[He won't deny that, not ever. He knows he doesn't have it in him to be a hero, the most he can hope for is to make his way to being good again.]

But you are, and you're better than--

[He cuts off as Tony takes a swing, dodging swiftly out of the way.]

Don't do this, I don't want to fight you.
definingfuture: (T - Can we all stop fucking yelling?)

[personal profile] definingfuture 2016-11-26 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
You're nothing!

[He takes another swing, wide and not as practiced as he could be, but still strong. There's a sign under the rash reaction that he's been trained. Maybe even by people Bucky can pick up the styles of--Steve and T'Challa. Tony's just not balanced.]

You're a sinner! You've been wrecking the town; defiling it. I can't allow that.
advanced: (disguise)

[personal profile] advanced 2016-12-04 09:21 am (UTC)(link)
[It's a different Steve and Bucky hasn't yet met T'Challa, so he can only recognise that Tony is trained but not who he has been trained by. He can also see that despite the training he's sloppy, too emotional to remember the technical details.

He ducks under the swing and tries to surge forwards in order to attempt to just rush Tony and knock him off his feet. At least if he gets the man down, he might be able to run away and solve the fighting issue without either of them being too hurt.

He doesn't bother to reply again, clearly talking isn't helping anything right now.]

[personal profile] definingfuture 2016-12-04 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
[Tony snarls, a noise that is frustration and rage. He's too upset to keep to his training, too angry, and when Bucky rushes him he does get knocked back. He keeps his feet though, barely, and maybe a little of that intelligent skill manages to come through. He can't convince himself that Bucky isn't as large of a threat like he's been doing for most people. Bucky is dangerous. He goes in again, trying to snag Bucky's shoulder and grapple him to the ground. He's still sloppy, though, and still not quite on balance the way he should be. The last catch was just lucky.]

Just die.
advanced: (back)

[personal profile] advanced 2016-12-06 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
[This time he manages to dodge the grapple, ducking underneath Tony's hand and darting for the door. Fighting here really isn't going to help anything, he just needs to get away. If he can get out into the snow then he's relatively confident that he can outpace Tony.

He just hopes that plan works.]
definingfuture: (T - You would dare strike a wizard?)

[personal profile] definingfuture 2016-12-07 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
[He's actually surprised by the retreat and has to shift to chase after him. Despite his sloppy form, Tony is actually fit. For a bit, he almost does catch up.]

Where are you going?! Get back here, you monster!

[He's not going to catch up to Bucky. He maintains the pace for a little bit, but in the end Bucky pulls away, leaving Tony screaming after him.]
