[Hange misses the intended spot, at the base of the skull, by quite a margine, but it's better than nothing. Humans are much easier to kill. Of course, they don't have much time to savor the small victory before Undertaker brings the bat to bear. There is only time to raise one shoulder halfway to take some of the force of the blow before they're knocked back, hard, onto the snow.

At least they got to take the letter opener with them.

Hange's head is spinning, but they're going to try to scramble up, anyway. It may take a moment.]

[There's probably some sort of karmic force at work here that's put him into this situation. But even wounded, blood already spilling in a small arc into the snow around him he keeps going.

Undertaker leaps over the kick aimed for his knees, surprisingly spry for someone his height. His attention now turns on the smallest of his pursuers. Hange he doesn't have to worry about for the moment.

He lands and immediately aims a roundhouse kick at Anderson, hoping it'll throw him off his feet. His bat isn't the only thing they need to watch out for.]

[Hange manages to regain footing, just in time to see their smaller accomplice knocked to the ground. But that leaves Undertaker occupied and potentially off-balance. Going back in, Hange aims for the arm that's holding the bat. They'll attempt to seize it first, to keep him from swinging, and then attack with the letter opener.]

[exequies]

[His arm is successfully grabbed, but a quick skirt of his body makes the blow miss. Undertaker retaliates with a leg sweep and a wrench of his arm where Hange's hand is connected.]

I'MMA BE ON YOU LIKE A SPIDER MONKEY

[Hange misses with the blade, and is once again knocked off kilter, this time by a sweep of the legs. Rather than let go, however, they instead cling harder, wrapping their other arm around Undertaker's and trying, if possible, to wrap their legs around his torso.]

[This would be utterly ridiculous if it wasn't so deadly. He tries to at least grab for the hand with the blade, and whirls towards Andersen to use Hange as a temporary shield.]

you mean on Andersen???

[imgonnatouchit]

[Hange's wrist is grabbed, temporarily thwarting any attempts to stab Undertaker, but that frustration is quickly forgotten when Andersen adds himself to the equation. Hange's unwilling to let go, but the extra weight is dragging them backwards, overbalancing the three of them together. Hange clings extra hard, even moving to sink their teeth into Undertaker's currently-immobilized arm.]

Yakety Sax plays on in the background.

[exequies]

[At least his sleeves take the brunt of the bite, though the pressure's still enough to bruise. He can't really swing his bat at this close range very effectively, especially not one-handed.

And then he's being pulled down to the ground. He hopes Andersen gets squashed in the process, as he lets go of Hange's wrist and attempts to break free of their legs wrapped around him, but wedging the bat horizontally where their ankles are locked. He quickly pushes it outwards, and attempts to use the momentum to press his back and shoulders towards the ground and flip himself into a somersault back to his feet.]

[The fall jostles everything, limbs and thoughts alike, but Hange quickly catches on to what Undertaker is trying. Keeping him on the ground seems like the preferable option, but not with him crushing them both.

Hange lets go, but uses the opportunity presented by his weight lifting off to stab at his midsection again before rolling onto all fours.]

[exequies]

Gah! [The letter opener strikes him again, a bit shallower than the first blow but still a small lance of pain in his side. Instead of immediately regaining his footing, he wastes a few extra seconds with one hand on the ground, pushing past the pain.]

[imgonnatouchit]

[Hange will take those few extra seconds. This gives them the opportunity to rise fully and lunge with the letter opener yet again, this time aiming for Undertaker's exposed back. They've got a bit more leverage to put behind it this time.

They will let Andersen do the talking for now.]

[exequies]

Already? We've barely started.

[Even if he's already been dealt two wounds, and is looking to acquire a third. Undertaker doesn't dodge this time, though he does finally push himself up and half-turn so that the letter opener strikes a more non-critical area.

It sinks in and he ignores the pain. Instead, he uses opportunity of it being momentarily stuck to jam his elbow back at Hange's nose and take another wack at their ribs with his own weapon.]

[Once again, recklessness has led Hange to a small victory and a small loss. Hange manages to duck the elbow, but not the baseball bat, and regardless of Andersen's attempts to help, they're knocked back and away from Undertaker for the second time. This time hurts more.

This prey is strong, and fast. Not to be taken lightly. Hange takes a moment to regroup before any further attempted assaults. Clearly, they need a new strategy here.]

[exequies]

[He'll take his opening where he can get it. While Hange and Anderson are thrown back, Undertaker turns heel and attempts his escape. Even bleeding heavily and hindered by the snow and rubble, he's fast and dexterous--he clears a small pile within just a couple seconds, and keeps running once he lands the other side.]

[imgonnatouchit]

[Hange considers giving chase, but Undertaker is nimble and mostly gone already. They're disappointed, but not entirely unhopeful.]

Don't worry too much. There are others out there. We'll find a slower one soon enough.
