Good morning, everyone. I told a number of people I would share the results of my conversation with the Admin, Eve, regarding her ability to correct 'mental imbalances' that might lead to violent impulses. I thought it best to provide what information I got from her with the whole group.

The upshot of that:

• Eve can 'fine tune' the nanites in our brains for a particular purpose. This will have no effect on MN poisoning symptoms except to make people not care about them.
  
• Use of the treatment requires patient consent. That's non-negotiable given the requirements for a declaration of mental incompetency under the NIMA system.
  
• While the fine tuning is considered an ethical treatment in extreme cases of violent psychopathy, it is considered unethical to try to treat MN Poisoning.
  
• We may be able to alleviate some of the worst instances of MN Poisoning with blood transfusions. I'm presently looking for the equipment I'd need to do that.
  
• Eve was born in Washington D.C. and used to work for the U.S. government.

As an additional note on medical supplies: I've informed the other doctors, but for those newly arrived and those seeking medical assistance, we are beginning to run low on certain medication types.

The relative medical stocks stand as such:

• Low-grade Painkillers: Low
  
• Mid-grade Painkillers: Acceptable, restock requested
  
• High-grade Painkillers: Acceptable
  
• Specialized Medication: Acceptable
  
• Radiation Medication: Critically low

I've also been previously informed that the emergency medical response injections are out and will take 200 days to restock. That was at a point that would put us past the projected end of this session... or whatever we're calling out time here.

A while back we were informed by previous residents of the town and what may have been the Admin that we'd used up half the time we had here before the town just sort of ended, I suppose. That was maybe a month ago. People have been here for 167 days. That means this session will end around day 250 to 260ish.

We don't know at this point. But from the deleted conversations people dug up previously, there have been hundreds of sessions like this. It looks like people devolved into anomalies or at least lost their minds and started talking like anomalies before the Admin terminated the session.

i used to in the past and i wouldnt be what i am if not for time travel
i havent in the past three years because of circumstances that would take too long to explain right now and arent relevant
but if i could still do it i could fit more time in to travel and learn and anything else i need to do so we dont fail this

Well, I think Ecks gave you the goal, more or less. Brian's got a key card from Robert Miller that we've been told should be able to get us through the wall that's up around the center of the city. It's a matter of figuring out where he can stick it to get the door to open up.

Reckon it's probably in the south. They're gonna make us go all the way around the spiral before we can reach it.

Because his friend Tim found it originally, and I guess he handed it off to Brian before he died. I know it's not ideal. But it is what it is for now. No one has tried to take it away from him; I think it's the last thing he has from Tim.

You're not the only one who doesn't want him to have it. I think maybe working with Beckett would be the best way to get it back. He knows Brian, and Brian trusts him. At least as far as I can tell. Unless you think you can get Jade to get it from him and pass it off to someone else.

The discussion about the 'sessions' happens in this post. But I'm new, too, so I might've missed details.

It looks like people started going insane beyond the point that she could stop them. We had a video of a former resident having her life taken after something went wrong with their NIMA treatment. Or at least the timing seemed to coincide with the treatment.

The Admin might have terminated the session if the sort of erratic behavior that resulted in that former resident's death started asserting itself in the people here.

There's no guarantee that would happen with us.

No, there isn't. But I think we need to look at the very real possibility that something like that may occur. We're going to try to stop it and get out before it happens, of course. This just gives us some added impetus to pull together and move forward as quick as we can.
