[There's silence on Kunsel's end for a moment, then a soft sigh, playfulness falling away.]

I know. [He definitely sounds more serious now.] But if there's a chance that my remaining anonymous will help not draw attention to Zack, even just for a little bit when someone from our world first shows up, then isn't it worth it?

Anyway... [His tone lightens just a little.] Asking would imply that you'd hold out on bringing cookies for Zack, Zell, and Jim, too. You wouldn't be that cruel, would you?

Would it help if I told you no one's worried about it anymore? [He gets the reasoning, to an extent, gets the desire to protect those who are important to you, even if it's something as small as using a fake name.

But.] Anyone who show's up is more likely to be looking for me. Unless you feel like being my guard dog too. [Guard cat? It's definitely one or the other.]

Even if they did, none of that matter's here. [What mattered was them surviving, was them somehow managing to get through this experience in one piece.]
