[That is what he is assuming the problem is with Tyki, at least. Not that he tried to walk through the door, but that he tried to push it instead of turning the knob.]

A discovery a little too late I fear. It's not the first impression I meant to make. [At least his nose isn't broken given he sudden realized he had no powers. He might nick himself later to see if his healing is working too.]

I guess I should introduce myself, then. I'm Shiro Fujimoto.

[Tyki is also from the right time period, he might be able to recognize that Shiro's username is 'frfujimoto', and 'fr' is the abbreviation for 'father', as in Father Fujimoto.]

I have a feeling it is not going to amount to much. Which is fine by me to some degree.

[But yes he's not going to like the dull beds, the lack of quality food or the refinements he has at home. He'll want to complain a lot but he'll adjust... eventually.

He's rather perceptive as a lord and is use to information hunting. He didn't miss that fr even if it took him a while and some coaching from Tifa that these were 'usernames' or identifiers.]

You're the first person to figure that out, actually. But yes, Father Fujimoto would be correct. Though there's not much of a congregation to preach to here, and all my heartwarming orphans are thankfully somewhere warmer.

It was a guess. It is not uncommon for men of your caliber to be labeled as such so that the public may be aware of your presence. [It made them easier to track, kill and collect information from.]

True. It's hard for prayers to be heard if the people can't find a priest to listen to them. It seems like most people here aren't too religious though.

I do believe in God but I am not a praying man. No offense to you, Father. [Though there is no stopping Shiro from trying to convert.

He's likely gone to church or into a confession in order to gain a kill or information but actual praying to a God he hates? Yeah, no.]
