[And people tell him he has a habit of sounding chipper at the worst of times. Still, at least the guy's got a sense of humour; he can dig that.]

Yeah, so I've heard. [Here, have Zelos joining on the sarcasm.] Would prefer either over this place, though. Anyone told you 'bout all the fun stuff we've got going around here yet?

[ At least someone is joining in on the sarcasm. It's been lonely being the only one who finds humor in... probably dying alone in a parallel universe. ]

You mean all the death, decay, and despair? The three Ds of fun! [ JK, the three Ds of fun are dogs, dogs, and dogs. ] I was thinking about throwing a party, but I haven't found any streamers yet.

[Hey, if you can't stop your impending doom, at least you can laugh about it.]

Don't forget the diseases, dread and distress! We've got more Ds here than you can shake a stick at. [And yes, he is also offhandedly expressing his frustration over the lack of girls, here. Who knew hell was a sausagefest.]

If you wanna throw a party, just lemme know. I can interest you in a bunch of fun party sites. [Sarcasm. Sarcasm everywhere.] Like, you know, the mass graves or the creepy ol' school.

[ why wouldn't hell be a sausagefest, tho. ]

Oh, I've always wanted to literally dance on someone's grave. Something tells me most of the people here aren't the partying sort, though. Maybe it's the grim pessimism and lifeless eyes.

[... An excellent point, admittedly.]

Well, should be easy enough to do here. There's no telling how many people're buried under all this snow. [Heck, the entire place could just be one big graveyard, for all he knew.

... It's a morbid thought.]

Yeah. Been wondering how many people had that pessimism before they came here. You know, did the eternal winter and the whole constant danger of death bring them down, or did we just happen to score a really introverted bunch to begin with?

Maybe you should take a poll. Everyone loves talking about themselves, apparently. It shouldn't be too difficult to get responses.

[ It's not like his friends aren't dramatic attention whores. It's just— surprising to see everyone so willing to band together for the sake of goodness and friendship, and share their innermost thoughts with a magic brick. ]

The difficult part would be phrasing it. I hear it skews results if you ask, "Have you always been a killjoy, or is that a recent development?"
