[ Well, he's certainly hasn't heard of buildings just locking themselves before. Not unless there was outside manipulation involved, that is. ] The buildings lock themselves. No one's ever checked for anything on the buildings themselves that could remotely do that?

People more knowledgeable than I have. They found nothing. This place is strange to all who have encountered it, so far.

[Some people have seen things like some of the elements of this place, but none of this is familiar in its entirety to everyone. Very curious.]

...The doors, so long as they lead outside, do not need their hinges to remain standing, somehow.

...Indeed. It's true, though, even if I couldn't tell you how it's possible. The one who took it off its hinges guessed it was..."magnetism"? But why the hinges if they aren't needed in the first place? This place's entire existence is a puzzle, it seems.
