[network, text] @CaptSteveRogers; What even I mean really [open; Night 62]

Hey Norfinbury. There's been a lot going on, forgot to mention a thing. Probably not important, just weird. A few days ago Rydia and I were in a house south of the northwest park, and we found this weird flashlight. It didn't actually produce any light, unfortunately, it just. Well. I made a video.

[Steve attaches a video clip. The video shows the interior of house 24; it's still daylight, and as Steve walks around with the tablet, you can see that each room is painted a different bright color. Steve coughs occasionally. Once the colors have been established, a flashlight comes into the frame. "Flashlight on," Steve says, hoarsely, and the red wall he's standing in front of turns blue. "Flashlight off. Flashlight on, flashlight off. Flashlight on, flashlight off." Every time he says 'flashlight on', the wall changes color, from blue to green to yellow. Steve turns the camera on himself and—he's all wrong. His skin is grey, his eyes are orange, his hair is hot pink. He holds the tablet at arm's length, keeping the tablet pointed at himself while he holds the flashlight up in his other hand and flicks the switch several times. All the colors of his body, his clothes, the wall behind him, keep changing. He raises his eyebrows at the camera. "...Yep," he says, then fumbles with the tablet, ending the recording.]

So, that. Colors all went back to normal when we went outside, and the flashlight didn't seem to work out there.

Just thought I'd share. I don't even know what to do with that, really, it's too strange. If anyone wants a weird flashlight that does not actually flash a light, I left it in the house where I found it.

[Why is he the only professional here. Beckett scowls.]

It didn't occur to you that others might want to study this kind of artifact? It might be a long while before anyone else happens by that house.
