[She's smiling, though. It's not just pragmatism speaking. This is genuinely who she is.
(She may also be relishing the opportunity to be a punning dork. So sad, Shepard.)]
Yeah. I know what you mean. Wind goes right through you... but seriously. There should be a coat there, and a pack with some rations, if you need them. I'm assuming they're tailored to your biology, haven't heard of that going wrong for anyone before. You look at Captain Rogers' guide yet? From what I heard about the monsters, no one's going to mistake you for one.

the wind isn't the only thing that'd normally go through me. i don't think i can process human food, but i'm getting the feeling things might've changed. [ he experimentally samples a bit of the rations. hm... one hypothesis tentatively confirmed. ] seems like it for now. pretty considerate of our captors to give us a starter kit, huh? look at this generosity. i'll try not to let it get under my skin.

[She's getting kind of distressing mental images here. Moving right along.]
Bare-bones help wouldn't be the first unexpected thing we get here. Sometimes it looks like the admin's honestly trying to help. Other times...

admin's kinda running the game here, yeah. [ and they appear to be unwitting players. ] have they really tried to help before? seems like most people here are pretty wary of them.

[Man, does she miss being able to toss gravity-altering mass effects around.]
They sure claim to be trying. Sometimes they're happy to share information, other times, it's all classified... you find the beacon application on your tablet yet? The Admin told us to turn it on to avoid poisoning effects, except that turns out to attract some pretty dangerous creatures. They don't seem aware of that. So sometimes it's like they've got no idea what's happening at all. [Her lips tighten in anger.] Or they don't care.

and no i haven't seen that app yet. i need to bone up on all this tech. a monster-attracting feature is definitely new to me.
... you were talking about monsters, were you? [ these dangerous creatures. ]
SORRY I'M OUT OF PUNS T_T
[She thinks a bit about the answer to the next one, because she sees the catch here.] That's what people call them. Monsters is a big word, though. I'd rather know what they are than write them off like that.
