[ Baelfire can barely use the tablet, but he's sure it's run by some strange dark magic. how else would they have been brought here, after all? he's not quite figured out the tablet himself, which may be why the video is shaky and the boy's expression is confused. ]

O-oh! I can hear you, I... I didn't mean to talk directly to you. I don't know how I did that. I didn't even know if anyone else was here in this place. Did... you just arrive, too?

[Robb holds the metal square out, as if his young eyes were betraying him and his brows were knitted together.]

Aye, I did just arrive, though I don't know where 'here' is. We are no lands I am familiar with.

[There's a quiet growl behind him, and you can see Robb looking over his shoulder. Only the ears of Grey Wind, his direwolf can be seen, but beyond that, you wouldn't be able to tell. Robb turns back to the camera.]

I believe he's just as unhappy as I am.

I am not familiar with these lands, either.

[ and he's seen some, but certainly nothing like Robb has. the noise, however, the little quiet growl has Baelfire leaning a little closer to camera, squinting to see what is making the noise on the screen. ]

W-what was that? You should seek shelter, if... if there are beasts out there.

[It takes a moment for Robb to realize the boy is referring to Grey Wind and a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.]

He may be a beast, but a trustworthy one at that.

[The camera shifts, showing more of Grey Wind.]

He is my only companion here; Grey Wind. How he managed to end up with me is a mystery.

[And not his mother, or any of his bannermen...?]

Oh, so he is kind? Tame?

[ this has Baelfire's attention and he grins broadly when the video shows more of Grey Wind. ]

At least you have company. And he'll be warm. I haven't seen anyone yet, just snow and buildings. I showed up alone.

[ He considers the camera for a long time, the view a little shaky as he crunches along through the snow. ] I'm Baelfire.

He is kind, but not tame, no.

[He listened to Robb, and for that he is very thankful.]

And for that, I am thankful for him. I did manage to find a shabby blanket with holes, but I'm afraid it's not much use.

Describe where you are, perhaps I can search and find you. Though I have to confess not knowing the land, it might time time. I do think I have figured out directions.

I have found a healing kit. It has some bandages, and a log for a fire, yet nothing to strike it with.

[ describing where he is, however, is more complicated. ] I woke up in one building -- it... had some rooms, but nothing around it. A lot of rubble on the way -- like things had fallen down or broken. There's just so much snow. I think I'm moving... [ he pauses to check the position of the sun. ]

I'm moving west. If... if the sun here is like the sun where I am from.

If we were to meet, I have flint with me, though you'd need to collect more than just a simple log.

[Robb had passed many trees in his journey, but most of the wood was wet and unusable. Typically he found himself snuggled in with Grey Wind for warmth.]

I've been moving south, in hopes to find less snow myself. The words of my house have always forewarned winter coming, and yet I am unprepared.

It's difficult to find any dry tinder here, the snow soaks everything through. But perhaps we'd at least be able to light the log for a short while?

[ Baelfire has made do in the places he's stayed in, trying to keep away from the collapsed walls or the wintry drafts when he can. ]

I think we are all unprepared, we didn't choose to be here. I wonder why we were brought here in the first place.

I've collected some myself in hopes it'll dry as I walk.

That is an answer I'd like myself. I was in the middle of a war where I came from, and I don't particularly want to be here right now, but I don't have much choice.

I hope it will, but with the snow, it's hard to say. It stays so cold that everything feels damp.

[ he strangely misses the muggy jungles of Neverland. ]

A war? I was in one, too. Sort of. [ a battle with Peter Pan would never end well, especially as he tried to fight to get back home. ]

I don't think any of us have the choice, which makes it much worse.

[There is silence from Robb's end. He's been by himself since arriving and couldn't help to wonder if there was a reason why he ended up here.]
