Mm, not quite magic, but it can kinda seem like it. I don't really know exactly how they work either, honestly. Something something science blah blah. This one's way fancier than the ones I've used in the past, but it's the same kind of idea: you use it to talk to other people. I think this one has other functions, too, I just haven't quite figured 'em out yet.

Yeah, somehow I think if we were supposed to be enjoying ourselves they would have given us blankets and board games. Finding a way out would be nice, but so far I've had no luck. Looks like there's a huge wall of snow near where I am--no way I could climb it. [Maybe if he had his chakrams to use for anchors, but barehanded? No way.] How do things look where you are?

I've never used any of these in the past. Never seen anything like it, actually. [ he turns the tablet over in his hands, which of course mucks up the video. he hasn't quite figured this one out yet, obviously. ]

Um. Pretty empty. Just this building, and a lot of snow. I am going to start exploring, maybe, but I don't really know what's out there.

Well, you seem to be getting the hang of it.

Yeah, not a lot where I am, either. Just a mattress and a creepy old mirror in the house I woke up in. They didn't even leave me a magazine or anything, sheesh. Haven't found much outside, either. Just... lots and lots of snow.

I... I found a healing box? It has bandages, and I found a log, maybe to use for a fire but I've nothing to strike it with. But that's all I've found.

[ It's not much but it's certainly better than nothing. Talking to this fellow too, certainly helps pass the time as he walks through the snow, boots crunching in it. ]

Oh, like a first aid kit? That's a good find--definitely hang onto that. Log could be useful, too, if you find some matches. All I've found is a necktie and some hand lotion. Not terribly useful.

Did you get much snow where you come from? My hometown didn't ever get this much snow. The only time I ever saw so much snow was on the summit of a mountain I visited once.

You won't have dry skin? The cold... well, it can do that, after all.

[ Well, he tried to be funny. ] Well, where I was living, it was... was very warm. A jungle, so, no. I've seen snow many times before just... just not like this.

Oof, that's quite a climate shock, if you're used to the jungle. Did you at least find something warmer to wear here?
