Especially if we intend to investigate anything we find. I wasn't outside for very long before it started to become difficult to deal with the cold, so I didn't have time to really look at the remains of the houses I found.

I'll be attempting to keep track of the distance as I travel, and I should hope others shall be doing the same. With any luck, we'll have a better estimate of the town's size in a few days.
