[Oh good, there was someone else there. Allegedly, anyway. For all she knew, Helena could be hallucinating all of this. It wouldn't be the first time she'd been trapped in her own mind. Still, his choice of description about the device was curious.]

May I ask where you are from? Perhaps there might be some clue as to why we are here if we have any commonalities. [It was a place to start trying to make sense of this, anyway.]

As far as I know, I was born in the Tevinter Imperium. But I was in Weisshaupt when I was captured by the spell that brought me here. [ It doesn't occur to him that he might be speaking with someone not from Thedas. ] Where were you?

[She had not heard of the Tevinter Imperium of Weisshaupt before, even with her knowledge of the ancient world there were no such places she knew of. Which only intensified her curiosity.]

I have never heard of the Tevinter Imperium or Weisshaupt. I was living in Wisconsin, but originally I am from London, England.

I know nothing of these places. Until today, I've never heard them mentioned even in passing.

[ The world is larger than he's experience, however. Perhaps they are lands that lie on the other side of the sea, far beyond the edges of the map. ]

But I have not traveled the length and breadth of Thedas. Only a handful of its countries. What is your Wisconsin like?

[Well that was fascinating, and certainly she couldn't help but start to think people from other universes had ended up here. Wherever here was.]

I would liken Wisconsin to having similar architecture as this place, only far more lived in. It has heavy snow in the winter, but not necessarily as much as is here. What is Thedas like, the parts you have been to?

[ He’s quite for a moment, reflecting on both what she’s telling him and how to describe the places he’s been. ]

Ferelden reminds me of this place, not the architecture but the snow and the cold. Though I’m told it does have mild summers. Tevinter is warmer, almost tropical, and far more advanced. The buildings reach high into the sky and far more ornate. The Anderfels is mountainous and dry. A large desert makes up the western part of Orlais. Antiva’s on the coast. Seheron is much like Tevinter. To fully explain the differences would take some time.
