More seriously, it's probably just an issue of sample size. Wherever we're being summoned from, the pool of people from a place that know 'America' or 'England' must be much larger than the pool of people from a place that know of an 'Amestris.' So statistically speaking it only follows that you and your friend number less.

Maybe you're right, I guess that depends on how large 'America' and 'England' are in relation to Amestris. But, even if Amestris is smaller, by that logic, I'd expect to see at least one or two people from Xing or Drachma.

Contrarily, I've never heard of 'Xing' before-- and I have heard of many things. A 'Drachma' IS the name of certain kinds of Greek currency, but I'm going to make an educated guess and say you meant it as some sort of country.

I'll also guess by your presumption that these countries are rather populous; England is certainly not the most populous country I know, though America is positively oversaturaed with its own britches. But perhaps there are some candidate queries or specifics that we're not realizing to explain the discrepancy.

I guess we just don't know yet, but all these little clues are worth remembering so that we can gather the pieces. There has to be a reason why there are so many people here who know about America, and only two who know of Amestris.
