[network|audio] @prettypinkflowers; A QUIETER PLACE; Day 405 [open]
So, um, like...
[Ginger clears her throat. It's been awhile since she's posted anything to the Network, so she comes off a bit unsure of herself or how to start. Of course, a good majority of Norfinbury was just in a coma, so she could still be in a weird place from dealing with that whole mess.]
Maybe this is coming out of left field and maybe kind of a weird time to be asking but, like, doesn't it seem like it's been awhile since we've heard from any newcomers?

I don't think he was. We've only got the Joker's description of him from those dreams to go off of, but reckon he couldn't have been that bad once. Maybe that was an earlier version of him before he went mad.

[It's not that she feels bad for Miller in particular, not after what he's put them through, but the more they learn about this town, it's origins, the people that have come and gone...it's heartbreaking. Horrifying. It's why she tries not to think too much about it.]
I wish there was a way to really talk to him without him being so mean, but I guess at this point there's nothing anyone can do to put him back to his senses or appeal to a better nature he might have had.

[It's a defeatist sort of attitude that doesn't suit her.]
I want to think that there is more we can do, that we just, like, need a new perspective to see it, or something.

[And then have their own minds shut down permanently with no bodies or place to return to.
John's not going to add that bit.]
What d'you think would give us a new perspective, Ginger? That's a really good idea. We need fresh ideas. They're working on things in the Bunker, but what can we do out here?

[She hates to say that she isn't sure, that she doesn't really know what all there is left.]
I'm not much of an ideas girl outside of, like, drawing out new patterns for clothes. Mostly I'm always trying to think of different ways to keep everyone warm. Both physically and, like, in their hearts.

You don't always have to. Is there anything I can do for you? You've helped everyone here more than you might ever know.

[Her voice cracks, and she sighs, pausing.]
I know there's no use comparing our experiences, but I know some of you have been through a lot worse than I can even begin to imagine, even after, like, all this time. So I'm just really, like, I'm so happy you're here to talk to me. You just take care of yourself as much as you can and as long as I can still hear your voice, that's really enough for me.

Say, what if I could do one better? You're outside the Bunker right now, right? I wouldn't mind seeing you, England, and America. Maybe we could meet up and plan something to do together? England, Sherlock, and Mycroft are all dead clever. Well... they're clever in certain ways. All that brainpower together, they might come up with something for the rest of us to do!

[She can't help just how excited she gets just at the notion of some well-needed good company.]
Like, and don't you just think that sometimes a little bit of time with a friendly face is just what you need to get inspired?

[Cold or not, it sounds like an enviable treat.]
Consider it a date. Thank you, John.

Where should we meet up? We're over by Miller's house in the Ice Tunnels.
