[Ginger clears her throat. It's been awhile since she's posted anything to the Network, so she comes off a bit unsure of herself or how to start. Of course, a good majority of Norfinbury was just in a coma, so she could still be in a weird place from dealing with that whole mess.]

Maybe this is coming out of left field and maybe kind of a weird time to be asking but, like, doesn't it seem like it's been awhile since we've heard from any newcomers?

I don't know...maybe it's just, like, a hiccup or something? Like, maybe Eve needed to take a break to recharge or was busy or something?

[It's not like she's ever personally understood how all of this works. Ginger's just kind of passively been accepting it all.]

Makes sense! I'd totally believe it if she were havin' a serious recharge about now.

[Harley doesn't have much of a better idea either, but it sounds right enough.]

Right? Like, um, maybe she overheated or something? Can that happen with robots?

[Maybe Eve has little fans that broke...it's hard to imagine anything "overheating" in a place like this, human or not.]

[She can't help being worried, even though with the way things have been going, it makes the most sense.]

That would be really bad, right? Like, not that it's good to be brought here but if she can't do that anymore she might not be able to revive anyone who gets hurt either, right?

Well, she's... I mean, she was still reviving people who've been dead for more than 200 days. [But when was the last time that happened? Two weeks ago? More?] Could just be a pause with everything that's been happening. The malware thing?

[No, it couldn't. When have horrible things ever stopped the Admin pulling in more people?]

[Ginger takes a deep breath, and then takes on a more decisive tone of voice.]

Yeah, like, I'm sure it's totally just that she's taking a break! She gave us warnings when everything else was running low before they ran out, right? So, it would make sense that she'd say something about this!

Yeah, sure. And we seem to have regained the full use of our tablets. [Mostly.] That says there's definitely some power available. Could be Eve is just reallocating things, taking stock while she tries to get hold of Mr. Miller.

What kind of machine? That's the one thing we've never seen any evidence of. Anything like it. What exactly does it pull?

I just don't know where the time's going. I feel like I can barely keep track anymore.

[Ginger hums in understanding. Fortunately, she didn't take it as sarcasm. But then, she seems like the type who doesn't tend to hear sarcasm more than half the time.]

That, like, is a super good point. Most of my time I use for sewing but I get so caught up in it sometimes it's like nothing else matters.

[He's about to be characteristically rude, but he pulls himself back at the last moment. Somewhat.]

The current working theory is that this is related to the increase in long term revivals, which spiked during the last of the new arrivals, perhaps due to a need to divert depleting power.

Or it could be an automated process, where the power is automatically diverted to the most sustainable purpose.
