[Ecks glances offscreen, like she's trying to remember something.]

Cable.

[She holds up what looks like a data cable meant for plugging into a tablet. One end terminates in an intact plug; the other end shows ragged ends of bare wires that look like they were cut with a saw.]

It is from the room with many computers. It was from the wall. It did not react when we plugged the tablets into it so we cut it off of the wall and now we have it for using with a computer elsewhere.

Is it good?

I can go to retrieve the cable from Andromeda's body. There's something else I need to deliver to House that I picked up some time ago. And it's been some time since I've seen you.

[She brings the cable she and Will obtained back into view, slowly showing it this way and that in front of the camera. One end is designed to connect to a tablet; the other end looks like it was hacked off with a bone saw.]

Okay. I'll try to find something as close to that as I can. [ It seems to him like it'd be much simpler if there weren't all these different kinds of connection, but for all he knows the shape has some vital effect on the data. Like how different forms of warding rely on different patterns to channel the energy of the cosmos. ]
