[ It's really only Billy's prompting that finally gets Zack maybe just a little more attentive. Even if he's just as quick to start with- ] Bullshi...

[ But there's the slide and shuffle of feet near his cell now. It'd been a slow build up and it still feels like he'd been hearing things, but now he's seeing someone clearly pulling someone else alone and his brows furrow. ]

It's this place again. It's always this place. Bet you they aren't even real and we're just seeing shit.

[ Billy waits, as patiently as he can, while Zack takes in what's happening around him. He's not exactly sure what he's seeing, but it's clear that something's off.

He huffs, a little impatient, and shakes his head. ]

Maybe it is. Couldn't tell you. But I know what I'm seeing, and I know if you just stay here something real bad's going to happen.

[heroproceeding]

[ That last comment earns a flat stare out of Zack. ]

You say that like that hasn't already happened.

[ But maybe it's that very comment that gives Zack the motivation he needs to finally try and push himself up, so he's at least sitting now. It's progress, right? ]

But I know what I'm seeing, too. I'll even prove it.
