They aren't meant to. Doesn't mean they can't be hacked by a skilled programmer to do it. Machines are only as smart or as useful as we program them to be.

[Somewhere, Angel is screaming.]

I don't know if your memories are returning. Our memories. Wilson said we've been down here a lot longer than I remember being here. If they do, you're not gonna like 'em. I hope for your sake, yours don't.

[Now his own memories.... he needs those for potential theorizing. So, he'd like to have them back, thank you.]

I may not like them, but they're mine. He had no right to take them!

[It's the most strength he's managed to muster since the fever set in, his voice cracking with a hint of angry tears. His mind clears a bit. Not enough to take notice of the fact that House just expressed straightforward concern for his mental health, mercifully.]

And the lost time, it might help us. Things about this place or him, or his minions.

[Mercifully. Also, this guy better not cry. House is bad with tears, in general. Men crying at him is especially uncomfortable.]

His minions are static. Try theorizing about what that is. Maybe something similar to the capes that were collecting the quantum chips when the Admin was cut off? Quantum minions?

The evaluation. The tablet that sends messages under an obscured name, like the ones we received. Didn't they affect our memories, too?

[He raises the heel of his hand to his sweaty brow. This is the third time he's said it but he can't abandon it now the way he'd dropped the first hint of it with Winter. He must say it. Again and again. To as many people as will provide feedback. Until he's sure it's not just him.]

...And it all flows back to the cult, no matter what.

Our memories affected reality. When Haurchefant posted the clip showing that journalist kid--Riley?--getting murdered, we got that message about Schrodinger's cat from a static name. And then everything in his house disappeared.

Has anyone been back to Derricks' place since Ecks laid her to 'rest?'

I can't say I have, or that I know. It will be easier to tell once we've escaped...

[Though with that line of thought having been brought up, he realizes escape will be more difficult than convincing others of the illusory nature of the cells.]

...I need to find Beckett. He's so badly injured he can hardly move. It will be difficult for him to leave on his own. Will you help me?

[Beckett may or may not have already been taken care of. Enoch hasn't seen him, or if he has he passed him by in his feverish daze. But all he knows is he needs to find him.]

I'll help you find him.

[It's just a little defensive. House isn't sure that Beckett will want his help actually getting out. He's been on the outs with the vampire since he regained his memories. They have a tentative truce on Beckett revealing anything about Hannibal or Will, but it leaves House in the awkward position of being truly beholden to the other man. He doesn't like it.]

He's over there. [House points in the direction of the vampire after scanning the room for a bit. There aren't exactly walls to stop him seeing things now.]

[Enoch takes a moment - in the crowd of people, of which some of their tallest are a part, he hadn't quite seen...

He starts towards the vampire, but looks over his shoulder at House. House not wanting to help carry him made sense, even if it takes him a couple seconds more to register quite why.]

Ah...since you don't want to help, what is the best way to carry someone with a back injury?

[It's a spinal injury, to be more precise, but Enoch never actually asked about Beckett's wounds. He was too wrapped up in the sight of him in such intense pain.]

On a stretcher, with them strapped down, immobilized. [But barring that...] Anything that keeps him in one position without jolting him around would be better than chucking him over your shoulder and hoping for the best.

He can sit... Perhaps if I could get my arms under him I could lift him slowly enough he doesn't move very much on the way up.

[But then he'll be bearing Beckett's weight in front, and he doesn't have the muscles or the diet he used to. Beckett can't have much grasping power either, he'd seen the way he was shaking when he reached out to take Angel's hand.

But it's the best idea he can come up with, and considering he's still recovering from the previous night, it's probably not the worst that could spring to mind. He looks at House as if to ask will that work? He isn't the medical professional here.]

Get someone else to help you. You're gonna end up hurting yourself and him if you try to do it alone.

[Who can he grab to help? Whoever it is will have to help carry him out of here; they'll have to be done with all the rescuing they're going to be doing, or be willing to prioritize Beckett and leave the rest to the others. Carrying him with Angel or Rhys would prove difficult, with as little upper body strength as the former has, and last he checked, Rhys was sure he was hallucinating all of this even if his robotic arm turned out to be strong enough...]

Perhaps Brian...

[He turns to look for him, too. He hadn't been very far from the space he saw as his own cell...

But he isn't so absorbed in this new task he can't show his appreciation. House gets an exhausted smile from over his shoulder.]

Thank you.

[House only grunts in acknowledgement. He rarely knows how to take gratitude, least of all from someone he's repeatedly lashed out at and beaten down. If you can't say something nice... he'll just keep his thoughts to himself.]
