Maybe it's one-way only... can get in but can't get out...

[It's nothing he wants to put to the test, really. But he does stick his hand in further, trying to see if he can tap the barrier from the other side.

And really hoping his arm won't be stuck.]

*He move further from the barrier but otherwise just watches to see what Flynn is trying.*

Doesn't seem to affect me...

[Flynn hums, curiosity clashing with fear and self-preservation and he tries the same thing with his foot, then his leg, then half his body, in and out, always keeping an eye on Brian.]

*He watches carefully, then very, very slowly reaches out to try and poke Flynn with a finger. Just to see if he can.*

[Flynn freezes, fear flashing on his face but the movement is slow enough for him not to retreat right away.

He winces away at the poke, however.]

*As soon as they touch he snaps his hand back as quick as possible. Not gonna risk letting Flynn attack in any way.

He can feel the other man, so he's not some sort of projection. That's...something. He's not sure what it really means, though.*

[He's not attacking. That's... that's something. Maybe he can get some answers.]

Why did you attack us last night?

*He cants his head; he doesn't remember any attacking. Or anything at all really but that's not weird for him.*

You. The other people with red lines. You went crazy and... and tore at everybody.

*He cants his head to the other side. That doesn't sound like him well, not all the time.*

... You don't remember?

*He nods. He doesn't remember anything of last night. Which isn't that weird for him.*

Oh.

[He doesn't know what to say to that. He's sorry? In a way he is, because rationally he knows what that means (the town did something again); in a way he isn't because his emotions still run wild, the fear and horror too recent.]

I see.

*He just nods. Because he's not really sure how to respond to that either.*

I'll...

I'm gonna go look for a way out of here.

*He raises a hand in what might be a goodbye and lets Flynn wander off.*
