Mmmh. It. May be easier to just show you? You don't seem like the type to have a weak stomach.

[ She pootles over to the bathroom door within her cell, opens it, and steps aside so Squalo can see inside. There's an assortment of blood splatters in there, resembling what might happen if someone tried to bash their own brains out on the fixtures. Because. Because that's what happened. And stuff. ]

This is where you make a quip about menstruation to relieve any potential awkwardness.

[ There's not even a shift in Squalo's expression when he sees all that blood. So the lined chick was cute and crazy, not a big deal. He's seen people get killed in bathrooms, it usually looked similar enough. ]

[ He does, however, sort of open his mouth a little bit and close it again at the mention of menstruation. Looks like he does share some things with regular boys... Yeah. There aren't enough women in his life for him to have any period puns handy. ]

...Too late. So what exactly stopped you?

The static things. The ones that took us to be drugged. When they get too close, you get too dizzy to even function. The... head trauma doesn't help. They fixed up the damage and left - Beckett saw it, if you'd like corroboration from someone without all the red? He's the vampire guy. Old, long hair, really grumpy?

[ look if there are better ways to describe beckett, angel sure doesn't know any ]

[ Squalo's empty stare suggests the description doesn't ring a bell. Maybe half a minute later, there's a vague hint of recognition. ]

You mean the corpse-licking, mold-huffing guy?
