Do you need a hint, Librarian?

[ He taps against the barrier. ]

I'm stuck here in this cell. I can't touch you.

[ It's odd. There's a lot of things that aren't lining up, but he's more certain that he might have done that to Flynn or one of the other newcomers here. ]

[cahooted]

[Librarian. There's not a lot of people who actually call him that. That and paired with the attitude and snide remarks...]

Vanitas. You're... Vanitas.

[He still looks distracted, scattered from the shock like his mind is not entirely there but there's a small furrow of his brow.]

I thought you'd be older.

[darkincrement]

It's the outfit.

[ There's almost a grin at that. He does notice the look. Tapping lightly on the barrier again. ]

Focus. [ His voice goes stern. ] I need you to focus. What happened?

[cahooted]

[Focus.

That tone and command work surprisingly well and Flynn raises his head slightly.]

You went crazy. All of you, at least I think it was all of you? You just... tore at each other. At us. At yourself.

[darkincrement]

[ It sucks when he's right. ]

Miller has been pumping us full of drugs. Can't remember anything that happened.

[ He's taking care to move slowly as he taps the medical bracelet on his wrist. Then he'll slowly unravel the bandages on his arms. ]

Looks like he caught the paranoia you were experiencing before.

[ Just going to turn his arm around to show the needle marks there with all the scratches and cuts. ]

[cahooted]

[Flynn shudders at the scratch marks and cuts, hugging his arms tight around his body.]

... My memory is blurry, too. [Unfortunately not blurry enough. He would love to forget what went down. He stares at the needle marks, trying to concentrate on that.]

I think they gave me something, too.

[darkincrement]

One of them inhibits memories. Watson was talking about it... [ He has to pause a little to think about it and then shakes his head. ]

I think it was yesterday.

[ For once, he sounds unsure. Reaching up to rub his forehead. ]

It had better be yesterday. [ Talking to himself. Focusing back to Flynn and the topic on hand. ] Antibiotic, but also doubles as a psychiatric drug. Safe to assume we'll have more gaps to look forward to.

[cahooted]

That... that makes sense.

[He frowns.]

I think that makes sense.

[He shakes his head.]

None of this makes sense!

When does it ever?

[ And then tapping the barrier he has. Though speaking of... ]

How can you walk through this?

[cahooted]

How can you not? There's nothing there.

[He hesitates, then quickly waves his hand through the barrier to demonstrate.]

[darkincrement]

[ Tilts his head, while frowning. Then he'll knock against the barrier. ]

There's a barrier. It won't let me pass through.

[ So good news, you're safe Flynn? ]

Maybe you aren't actually real. Not sure why it would be you.

[cahooted]

[Sorry about the barrier, Vanitas. But knowing the other can't get to him does help him to calm down.]

That's odd.

[Flynn looks down at his ragged self, frowning.]

I feel very real. If this is a dream I really don't see the need for it to be this graphic.

[ It's very odd. ]

It's not like we haven't seen graphic before. [ You're talking to 2edgy4u ] Can't tell half the time with whatever they put us on. It seems that they can't have abductions without hallucinations.

[ Or missing limbs, but he manages not to say that out loud. Pointing back behind him towards the bed in his cell. ]

Do you see the bed?

[cahooted]

[The... what now? Flynn follows the pointing with his eyes and shakes his head.]

No.

[A pause.] I don't even understand why you can't leave. The door is open.

[darkincrement]

[ He looks behind, and sees it's still there. That's interesting. Hopping up to his feet and walking to it to sit on it. ]

Still don't?

[ He wonders if Flynn would just fall through and land on his ass if he tried. ]

Either it's the drugs or the nano machines. Whatever it is, it has a strong hold. Good news for you.

[cahooted]

No, you...

[He frowns, watching the acrobatics with bewilderment.] That looks just weird.

[Now with Vanitas away from the barrier, he pushes an arm through.] What does that look like to you?

[darkincrement]

[ Because it looks weird, he's just going to stay on the bed. Scooting further back to get both of his legs there. Check this out. Floatitas.

Though the arm clipping through the barrier is pretty interesting. ]

Like it's going through it. Try walking in.

[cahooted]

Try walking in? Are you insane? I'm not going in there!

[But frankly, Floatitas looks too ridiculous to stay 100% terrified here. Still, he gives him a bit of a look.]

... If you attack me I am going to be very upset.

[After another moment's hesitation, he carefully steps into the cell.]

[darkincrement]

[ Really Flynn? He snickers quietly as he tilts his head. ]

Very intimidating.

[ Oh no, can't upset the beaten up Librarian. ]

I won't attack you. Not while I'm in control.

[cahooted]

Thanks, I try. And that makes me feel so much better.

[Grumble, grumble. But indignation seems to have a soothing effect on him.]

No door for me.

[darkincrement]

That's more like it.

[ He's being a good critter and staying put. The amusement is still there. ]

Really. I couldn't tell at all. Maybe try it a few more times.

[cahooted]

[Flynn is close to rolling his eyes but that actually speaks for his mental state and Vanitas' needling attempts because a) they're successful and b) they're actually good for him because he sounds a lot more like himself again.]

This isn't some kind of scheme to get me running in and out a room like and idiot while someone else films it for the network, is it?

[darkincrement]

If only.

[ Snickering. ]

Like you need my help to look like one.

[ It's easier like this. It's easier to focus on the moment or how things should be, instead of everything to do with here. ]

[cahooted]

Fair. Harsh, but fair.

[Tell him about it. He gladly jumps onto that pretense train here.

Flynn repeats the movement a couple of times before he stops outside the cell again, shrugging.]

There's nothing there.

Want to try sitting on the bed?

[ Okay now that's an attempt to see him make a fool of himself by falling through the bed. ]
